...I bought this for my grandma who is getting old and needed something lightand easy to use. I bought this from an ebay shop that specialises in these. I got it very cheaply. Its great because its bagless. I thought only dyson did that!!! Well its pretty similar really , easy to empy and clean. The suction is pretty good not as good as my dyson but they are amazing. However its better than your average vaccuum, The design is pretty cute and its easy to store, it takes up little room. Its not noisy, pretty quiet really. Hoover Dustmanager Bagless Upright Cleaner.

Advantages: Extra long stair hose.
Disadvantages: Short flex.

...This hoover looks great but Im a little disappointed with it. The flex is shorter than an old hoover model that broke down after 11yrs of service. The handle seems shorter. Also you can't feel the suction from the front of the cleaner, I know im comparing it with the old model but I can't help it. The tools are in an inconvenient place at the back of the hoover because it make's it difficult to reattach the hose after stair cleaning. ( They get in the way). The bagless cassette you empty is small and for a larger house needs emptying at least twice. I have a black lab and we get alot of dog hair's i found it annoying not only emptying the cassette but also the pull out filter as it got clogged up with dog hair's , I accidently sucked up a grape and found that in the filter and not in the cassette , so watch you don't hoover up...

...AI bought this hoover after my trusty Henry gave up the ghost. I was looking for something cheap that would do what it says on the packet (so to speak). I only paid about £40 for this hoover & must say am very pleased with it, it has a 2000 watt motor so the suction is more than enough. The hose length is 1.5m with metal telescopic extension tubes, you can stretch it to hoover most of your stairs but I do find it easier to carry it up and place it on the steps (its narrow enough to stay there without tumbling to the bottom). It also has no problems picking up pet hair. It has a 2 litre dust collection box (bagless) with a washable filter. ...The following is based on my own experience. I bought a Vax U91-P2 Power2 Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner end of August 2009. It is now in the back of my cupboard collecting dust. No pun intended!!! When I first used the product, it was good - couldn't fault it. However, when I tried to use it the second time, it wouldn't pick up dust. Off I went to Curries to complain about the problem. They carried out a basic floor test, ie tried to clean a small floor area in the store to see what the fault was. After the basic test, they could see that the cleaner was not picking up dust. They said the filter was blocked hence no pick up and that the filter needed cleaning. I said, ?to save me driving all the way home, can I purchase a spare filter in store to replace the one inside the cleaner ? that way you can test it again...
