Reviews of hoover vacuum
Tough powerful vacuum
Review of VAX 6151 SX by
KrisUK07
Advantages: Tough, wet/dry, powerful
Disadvantages: Not the most practical, bulky, storing
...In my experience, these are indestructable.
Part of my job was to repair vacuum cleaners and it was very rare for Vax vacuum cleaners to show up and from experience of my home use, Hoover, Dyson and Electrolux barely survived any time at all but to be fair, all of my vacuums seem to be neglected. Vax always seems to take the beating though.
These are good all round vacuum cleaners (wet/dry vacuum). They are powerful, with variable power, can be used as a carpet washer, have a turbo brush (ideal if you have pets) and have a good size dustbag. Very good suction on this vacuum.
It does have its downsides though... It is a bulky little thing to get to work on the stairs and to store and just like any cyldiner vacuum cleaner, not the easiest to store like a upright vacuum. There is also no cable rewind so unless you have the patience...

A Vacuum Cleaner That Lasts Forever
Review of Samsung VC 8930 by
Nathan.crocker
Advantages: Lasts forever, Easy to use, Great features and tools
Disadvantages: Frequent bag changes for maximum performance
...This has to be the longest time I have owned a vacuum cleaner for, it must be going on for 5 years plus and still no faults with it other than general wear.
Its got a comprehensive on board tool kit which is great for cleaning the car with, also it has a small fabric head for cleaning curtains, sofas etc.
It has 2000watts of power which is ample to suck up not only the dirt but it would also take up loose floor tiles. The power the hoover uses is very easily controllable by two buttons on top of the hoover, you can increase or decrease the power according to what you wish to hoover. For example if you want to hoover the curtains without ripping them off the wall you can quickly decrease the power to it lowest setting the return to the highest setting when you want to hoover the floor.
This hoover is especially handy for pet owners...

The super hoover!!!
Review of Miele S 4210 Yellow by
willliz1975
Advantages: Compact and super powerful with great allergen removal
Disadvantages: shortish electrical cord
...This is a fantastic hoover. It is small and compact but with the sucking power of no vacuum I have had before.
It really is great for carpets and solid floors. Stairs are a doddle with this hoover as it is so lightweight and small. It doesn't really make a huge amount of noise either.
The main vacuum pole extends and shortens with a smoot action to make it easily adjustable for each job.
The power usage is variable from 300 W for curtains up through various options like upholstery, rugs, carpets and wooden floors to a massive 1800 W. There is also an economy setting which is apparently set so that it is economical on the electricity usage.
It has a useful range of tools from the main vacuum head to a thin nozzle for hard to reach places, a brush, and a velvet lined head thingy for curtains and upholstery.
The vacuum is apparently...

loses suction rapidly!!
Review of Hoover Telios T4546 Pets by
broksababe
Advantages: sucks up anything when new bag in
Disadvantages: loses suction rapidly
...I purchased the telios pet vacuum from hoover a few months ago,I wanted a good vacuum as only trust brand names, and this seemed ideal as it has 7 levels of filtration and I thought this would be ideal as I have a black dog that leaves hair everywhere and my old vacuum wouldnt touch it!
When I first used it I thought wow this is impressive it sucked so hard it lifted my carpets up, and certainly tackled the dog hairs with ease. But then, after a few days I noticed even on full power it wasnt sucking nearly as well, so.........was my hose blocked? NO,
Was my bag full? NO, in fact it was only a quarter full!.I couldnt understand how it had lost so much power, I even rang the helpline to be told , it will be a blocked pipe!, but it wasnt!!, I changed the bag and voila!, the hoover sucked like magic again!, this is not good when you can only...

Review of VAX V 047 Quicklite Foldaway Black&pink by
Angiemitch
Advantages: Too many to mention...
Disadvantages: None
...What can I say first in praising this Vax Quicklite vacuum cleaner.
Price: buying from Comet at £40 this vacuum does not break the bank.
Performance: Deals with hairs from two dogs and is excellent on hard floors as well as carpets. Sucks like a Dyson (my opinion) so for the price you can get the suction of a vacuum 6 times its price.
Ease of Use: I had this hoover up and running in 5 minutes.
Advantages: Best advantage is that the handle is adjustable being 4 foot 11 inches I find most vacuums handles are too high and uncomfortable.
The wide track is also great as it sucks up more dirt as it is bigger so covers more floor quicker.
Lightweight and great maneouverability for anyone, especially if like me you have weak joints.
There is a light on board to enable your view of all that nasty dust up close, much like the old Hoovers...

Hoover Telios vacuum cleaner
Review of Hoover T 5728 Telios by
ventjoran
Advantages: it seemed cheap
Disadvantages: would work better as hair dryer!
...I got this vacuum cleaner from one of the high street branches of the 'Index' catalogue when it was closing down, at a slight discount.
I now understand why the shop was closing down: they must have been inundated with customer complaints...
This is not a vacuum cleaner as we understand it. The suction is appallingly non-existent; whatever gets sucked in does not make it inside the bag, as the tube does not reach the opening of the bag. Bags a so little that they need changing half way through vacuuming a one-bedroom flat (I know, strange! as there is still half of the dust you want to get rid of lying about on the floor - really, for a proper clean, you'd be looking at 4 bags!)...
All in all, a total waste of money and effort every time I vacuum.
This is my third Hoover appliance (I also have a washing machine and a fridge...

Hoover in a Whirlwind
Review of Hoover Whirlwind W2700 by
FrooTee
Advantages: Light-weight, washable filters
Disadvantages: Back-heavy/not very well balanced; tends to fall backwards without much effort, washing all relevant filters & parts a little time consuming, see-through dust chamber
...The Hoover Whirlwind W2700 is a very powerful vacuum cleaner, it has a 1400 watt engine and its suction power in my opinion is second to none.
The Hoover Whirlwind has washable filters and having been the owner of a vacuum cleaner which required the constant buying and changing of disposable filters this with was something of a bonus to me when I first purchased it.
However, there are 5 main parts to the Hoover Whirlwind which need to be washed to maintain its optimum suction power, these being a small half-moon shaped filter by the handle, a cone-shaped filter in the main body, the dust-bucket, the hepa-filter and the donut shaped foam filter within it.
One of the disadvantages with the washable filters is that they must be maintained regularly and process is a little time consuming both in the washing but ultimately the drying...

Goodbye heavy upright hoover Hello Dyson DCO8!
Review of Dyson DC 08 Origin by
Ozziefi
Advantages: very effective suction & light to use
Disadvantages: difficult to remove long hair from turbo brush
...I was secretly glad recently when my hoover died as I was finally able to buy a Dyson vacuum. I have wanted a Dyson for some time but could not justify the expense when my 'functional' but heavy Hoover was still working. The Dyson is worth every penny I paid for it and Vacuuming for me is no longer a 'chore'. It is such a pleasure to use the DC08 after using a heavy upright hoover. In comparison to my Hoover the DC08 is so light & easy to use.
The suction is brilliant and it was amazing the amount of dirt that came out of my carpet the first time I used the Dyson.
I really like the adjustable 'wand' which allows you to have the handle at the correct height. No more backaches caused by bending in an awkward way while vacuuming. I also like the clear cylinder - it makes it so much easier to see those wretched little pieces of lego...

Best Vacuum Cleaner Ever
Review of Numatic Henry by
sarah_stitch
Advantages: manoeverability
Disadvantages: won't hoover the floor for me
...Prior to owning a Numatic Henry vacuum cleaner, I had had a number of second hand upright and small portable cleaners. My reason for purchasing a henry vacuum was due to price, features and from experience of my mothers Henry cleaner which she has owned for 10 years and has never had a problem with once.
I have cats in my house, and at certain times of the year it used to be near impossible to get their hair out of the furniture and carpets, but since I have had the henry cleaner it hasn't been a task.
I believe that these cleaners are used in hospitals and offices, I can see why, they collect everything and are very easy to move around, no more lugging the hoover from room to room, it just glides along behind me, the hoovering is complete in about an hour which is wonderful.
My Henry vacuum cost me £60.00 from a local agricultural...
