Marquis SuperGrip Hoof Boots easy to use and horse loved them

Advantages: hard wearing and easy to fit
Disadvantages: never wore them to ride in as my horse was retired

...I was looking for a way to help my aged horse, cope with being barefoot and came across the Supergrip Hoof Boots. In my opinion I found them to be a good send. I remember the first day he wore them. I found them quite easy to put on after try other makes, having to walk along a loose stoney road to get to the field, he usually tip toed and took ages, however with these boots he had a new lease of life and he was bouncing along the road, got into the field and went cantering off to the other horses. Other people at the yard were amazed and said he was a different horse. After getting used to them he used to lift his feet and put them into the Supergrips. They were like air filled slippers. I found them quite robust and simply to use. They were worn in all weathers throughout the year and found in general they tended to stay put...

Keratex Hoof Hardener

Advantages: It really works!
Disadvantages: The Price!

...I started to use the Keratex Hoof Hardener when my one horse (who doesnt wear shoes) started to get brittle feet and tiny cracks started to appear. A few other people on my hard were using it and when my farrier came out to trim him he recommended it to me but just to use until there was a shown improvement in the feet. I went along to my local shop and bought a bottle (its not cheap) and started to apply it daily when his feet were dry. The smell is pleasant to start off with and then it gets pungent! Strengthens poor quality hoof walls so that shoes stay on tight and allows lightly worked horses to remain sound without shoes. It does not produce a surface coating thereby allowing the hoof to breathe and function naturally and works by improving and strengthening the molecular structure of hoofwalls and soles. The Trotter family consists of two brothers Derek and Rodney(played by David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst) who live in their Nelson Mandela Flat are traders in peckham, struggling to make ends meet, but they always end up with dodgy deals, which makes this programme pure gold to watch. You will wet your pants if you were to watch Only Fools and Horses, because of the wacky adventures and dodgy deals the two brothers end up with. Derek is the more assertive, extrovert brother of the two brothers. He manages to always get him and his brother into trouble by buying 'Knocked Off' products such as inflatable dolls which are explosive!
