Sorry, just remembered the 'good old days' of history lessons learning about that trojan horse! With my and my love of horses, it all started back in Year 7. My first year in "big school". Advantages: Healthy, rewarding sport with many possibilities

Horse Riding in the wild west of Spain!

Advantages: Great horses and people, lovely views, close to airport and village.
Disadvantages: Very hot in August, definitely need a hire car.

Reasons to Ride..

Advantages: therapeutic qualities, relationship and trust between yourself and your horse is extremly rewarding,
Disadvantages: None it is worth everything

...I started riding when i was 9 years old im 16 now. I started as i did not have alot of friends and school and i found it to be a great get away. I suffered from a form of bulimia between the ages of 11 and 13 where my body was rejecting food. The main cause of this i belive was the stress of changing schools. i become so week i couldnt ride any more and that for me was a turning point i made my self eat and i made my self stronger so i could get back in the saddle. The only time i felt completely free and away from the world is when i was having a good canter in the field it drained all the stress away and made me better i advise every one to ride. Hats On !

Advantages: Looks elegant, keeps my eyes shaded.
Disadvantages: None whatsoever.

...I've always liked to wear something on my head, I'm not the elegant lady-like type and not very courageous fashion-wise, I've never worn a stylish felt creation adorned with feathers and stuff, I'm more a straw hat in summer and woollen cap in winter woman. Some years ago I decided to wear not just any cheap straw hat any more but the real thing, a Panama hat, as it becomes an elderly lady. Review of Panama Hats

The Horse And His Boy - What A Ride!

Advantages: A great addition to the Chronicles of Narnia!
Disadvantages: Less of the story is spent actually IN Narnia but the story is very griping!

...The Horse And His Boy is, chronologically, the third book in C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles Of Narnia". The chronicles as a whole are something that i'm growing to love. During my childhood, i watched the BBC dramatisations of "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe", "Prince Caspian And The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader" and "The Silver Chair". To this day they still bring back strong feelings of nostalgia (and i've recently bought them on DVD, can't wait to watch them). I also had the full set of books as a child (they were originally my mothers) but i never read them. I wasn't the reading type back then (how that's changed!) Then, in 2005, Disney brought out "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" movie and, again, those feelings of nostalgia resurfaced. That was in 2005. Challenging but rewarding

Advantages: A new challenge. Boosts confidence. Great way to keep fit and make new friends.
Disadvantages: Can be nerve racking and difficult to begin with.

...I don’t particularly like animals, I hate most sports and up until very recently I’d never even been near a horse or pony. Then about 6 monthes ago I decided I’d give it a go, just for fun. It was only £7 for an half hour lesson (which often lasted a lot longer) with free hat rental, which I think is quite cheap. But if you want to be properly kitted out you also need to buy riding boots and jodpers, which are a little more expensive. Luckily, my sister is a keen rider so I could borrow hers. To start off with I found it very difficult. There was me thinking I’d just have to sit there and the horse would do all the work. I now realise how much more complex horse riding is.
