So he is rugged up for 90% of the time! For all you non-horsy types a rug is a coat that covers the horse's body from his shoulder to his tail, fastening under his belly and round his chest. Some horses particularly the finer types racehorses for example have been bred over the years to have finer coats that no longer give them enough protection against the British weather. So both in the stable and out in the field they need to wear rugs to protect them. Rambo Supreme turnout rug

Disadvantages: my rug was faulty; poor customer service.

...Unfortunately, on the Rambo Supreme I bought there was a fault in the manufacture of it and the neck cover kept detaching and falling off. I contacted Horseware several times, but they didn't respond at all. I eventually had to go to the Irish version of Trading Standards and suggest legal action before I got a response. Horseware then declined to replace the faulty rug and eventually 'repaired' the original one that had never been right from the start, which wasn't what I wanted. The whole thing took almost a year to resolve, and I had to buy another rug/neck cover for my pony in the meantime. Horseware didn't appear to me to be apologetic or concerned about the inconvenience or expense I'd been caused. I was very disappointed that such an expensive rug had been faulty when I bought it,, and even more disappointed that the level...

...The Rambo series of movies is not one that I would have openly made an effort to watch, as I am not an outward fan of mindless violence. Give me zombies and vampires any day! I think a lot of my aversion to "war" films is the fact that I am married to a soldier, and don't really like to be reminded of the dangers faced, even if these dangers are grossly exaggerated on the big screen.
