Hostel part two - Twice as bad!

Advantages: Thrilling, Chilling
Disadvantages: the sex scenes could have been little less

...Well this is one freaky and scary movie. Its rather you have to fight to survive through the movie than to watch it. This movie is completely about brutality. God knows what was goin through that directors mind while creating. The movie is packed with complete thrills, scenes which give you chills, goosebumps and some, which make you wanna puke. Horror at the Hostel

Advantages: Gore fans will love this, there are disgusting displays of death galore.
Disadvantages: The film lacks substance, relies heavily on shock value and little else is offered.

Having heard good things and previously loved 'Cabin Fever' which Roth also directed I had been really looking forward to seeing this film, when I saw it however I felt nothing but disappointment. Rooms are very reasonable priced and you have a choice between -single/double/triple en suite by room -dorms from 4 to 16 beds both en suite or not Booking is possible on www.clinkhostel.com and hostelworld.com - I heard it's also possible to do it via phone. Booking was quick and easy. The location close to Kings Cross is great. Within Zone 1/2 on the underground it is easily reachable. At King's Cross you can get the following tubes: Northern Line (Black), Metropolitan Line (Dark Red), Circle Line (Yellow) and Hammersmith and City Line (Pink). From the tube station to the hostel it's a 5min walk. WE found the hostel easy to find and the location quite central. The quick connection between King's Cross and Camden town was a huge plus point. Hostel Endeavours

Advantages: Some nice cinematography, decent acting during tense moments

...So it now appears that Eli Roth is so lauded in cinema that he can present his films with his name before them. Such is the case with Eli Roth's Hostel. Well in case you didn't know, Roth's previous effort was the over hyped Cabin Fever. If you've seen that film than I hope you'd agree it wasn't the saviour of horror that certain websites proclaimed. Either way it doesn't give him the kudos to throw his name before a film like a bigshot. Advantages: Decent production standards which save it from being horrific

Lime House Hostel, reasonable but unspectacular

Advantages: Cheap, friendly and huge roof area
Disadvantages: noisy and a little run down

However, on busy days there often wasn't quite enough particularly of the popular medialunas-I found out that they only provide one per person which seems a little stingy. The other problem is that breakfast is only available from 8-10am-which may not seem so terrible but this is a city where you don't start heading out to a club until 2am and so 10 am is very early. it did seem designed so that they could guarantee a certain percentage missing breakfast each day-when the 'one croissant per person' issue was discovered one of the staff even said there was no way the majority of the hostel made it to breakfast each day.
