AERO HOT CHOCOLATE It's a little bit minty Well I just made myself a nice cup of this so I thought I'd write a review while I have the inspiration in my hand!!!!! :-D Well we all know of Aero Mint, they've been around for years. And now, you can get this, Mint Aero Hot Chocolate, along with plain aero and orange aero flavours, but this is my favourite. There are two ways you can buy this, either in the 8 sachets (8x24g) or a 288g tub, which requires you to measure out your own measure of powder. But at £1 a tub at the minute in Asda, you can't complain at all!!!! :-D Aero Minty is made by Nestle and the Nutritional Values per serving with 200ml water are: Calories: 99 Sugars: 14.8g Fat: 2.6g Saturates: 2.4g Salt:0.4g so a mug every now and again isn't going to destroy your waistline...

scrummy hot chocolate!!

Advantages: bubbly and creamy

...Now this is one of my favourite hot chocolate drinks and is available in both original and chocolate with mint! It is also available in a big tub or in single sachets, i tendto buy a big tub. I bought this not expecting much thinking it might be ok as it was only 99 calories per serving but was actually totally won over by it! To make this you simply drop 4 heaped teaspoons into a mug and pour over hot water making sure you give it a good stir. Now you actually do get a lovely lot of bubbles at the top once you mix it too which I must admit did suprise me as I was far from convinced by the claims of it being bubbly on the tub! As for the flavour this also is far superior compared to a lot of the low fat varieties available. Our favourite hot chocolate Nestlé Aero

Advantages: creamy, chocolatey drink
Disadvantages: well it contains 99 calories per serving

Creamy hot chocolate

Advantages: Creamy and thick
Disadvantages: Can be expensive as not many servings per jar

...I love nothing more than sitting down with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book and lately with having no sunny days hardly I thought it might be a good idea to get some in for when it's a horrible day and I'm stuck in the house! So when looking for one I came across the Galaxy Hot chocolate in the home bargains store and so thought it seemed pretty good as I love Galaxy chocolate anyway and hoped it might taste really nice! The tub: The tub is quite narrow but tall as the one I have has an extra 33% more in it. The tub has the usual Galaxy logo on it with the packaging in brown the same as the chocolate bars are. The tub is 266g in size and has all the ingredient information on the label along with the instructions on how to make the drink. Advantages: only 40 calories each, choice of flavours
Disadvantages: not as good as real chocolate.

...I started a diet last week, and although I've managed to lose 3lb since then (god knows how) I'm really missing chocolate and occasionally have a bar, even though I know I want to lose weight. an ok hot chocolate

...After hearing how this was pretty good I decided to give it a go! The tub says it only has 40 calories per mug and less than 1.5grams of fat which is pretty good going for hot chocolate. Now normally when making hot chocolate you use four heaped teaspoons then pour over hot water but this time the tub said only 3 which made me instantly think "ewww this is going to weak and thin" But as soon as I poured the hot water over it and lifted it to my mouth I could actually smell the chocolate in it- unlike some others! The taste I would say is ok. Better than some diet hot chocolates but nowhere near as good as Green & Blacks or Aero which are not quite as healthy! So I thought to myself why not add a 4th teaspoon maybe that will make it as yummy?! Yes I know this defeats the purpose of the drink slightly but it is still probably better...

Galaxy hot chocolate drink

Advantages: Great tasting hot chocolate made with just water.
Disadvantages: Heavy on the calories and carbs.

...I love chocolate Dairy milk or Galaxy it doesn't really matter so when I saw a hot chocolate drink made by Galaxy I just had to buy it. I think it was around 30p for one sachet. This one came from Tesco but is available at other shops too. It comes in a 28g packet and to me it looks slightly orange but I think it is supposed to be a chocolate colour. It has Galaxy written in brown writing across the middle and instant hot chocolate drink just under that in smaller writing. Think chocolate, think indulgence, think galaxy hot chocolate. The back of the packet is a darker brown colour and has the ingredients, which I don't think I need to list except the fact that there is 7.5g of real galaxy chocolate in this sachet, allergy advice, which tells you it contains milk and Soya, nutrition information. Butlers Hot Chocolate Drink

Advantages: Attractive packaging, attractive price point, simple to make.
Disadvantages: Not chocolatey enough!!

...Firstly, I would like to point out that although this product comes under the category of "Cocoa (Instant)", it is not cocoa - it is Hot Chocolate! That means that it is a drink made with "real" chocolate, not with cocoa powder. I have mixed feelings about Butlers chocolates in general - I have tasted many of their products, and I love some of them, and am not so keen on others. So, it was with interest that I tried this new product. It has only just become available here in Ireland, I am not sure you can buy it in the UK as yet. First things first - the box itself is very attractive. Creamy, Chocolately, Orangey Goodness

Disadvantages: You have to wait for it to cool down

...I really enjoy drinking hot chocolate as it makes a welcome break from tea and coffee. I usually drink Cadbury's Hot Chocolate at work but this can get a bit sickly after a while as you are meant to make it with milk and it can get a bit boring which is especially annoying as that is why I was drinking it instead of tea or coffee in the first place! Browsing the hot drinks aisle in Tesco's these little Option sachets caught my eye. I liked the idea of them as they come in lots of different flavour not just plain old boring chocolate and also because they can be made with just hot water which means they are low in both calories and fat.
