Each books focuses on a different sibling and their love story. This book focuses on Benedict, the second oldest Bridgerton sibling and Sophie Beckett, the illegitimate daughter of an earl. The plot to this book is not an original one, it's basically Cinderella re-written. After Sophie's father dies her stepmother begrudgingly keeps Sophie in her household in order to have the extra money that her late husband promised if she looked after his daughter. Hôtel Restaurant La Flambée -dine in style but bedrooms plain.

...We stayed at the Hôtel Restaurant La Flambée in Bergerac in November 2008 for two nights and enjoyed breakfast and dinner. What follows is an honest account as possible about the hotel as I can provide. Hopefully this may help if you are planning to visit this part of the world. We flew to Bordeaux but the most convenient airport for the hotel is actually in Bergerac as the hotel lies about 2 miles outside the town. Incase you are not familiar with this part of the world these places are in the main wine growing areas, and are in South West France. Flying time from the UK is about an hour and a half if you are flying from the London areas. Easyjet will take you to Bordeaux from Luton, likewise British Airways will fly you from Gatwick, and Ryanair will fly you from Stansted to Bergerac. Now as is standard with both LCD and Plasma we either of the choice of full HD or HD Ready. The former allows you to enjoy the resolution in sharper detail at 1920*1080p. ...point I just gave up, I went and checked out, room was £125 plus the food I'd had the night before added another £35 and left even though my train back to London wasnt due for another 2 hours. I was just desperate to get away. The amusing thing is as I had given my email address upon check in I did recieve a customer assessment form via email a day or so later. I filled it in VERY truthfully and said pretty much everything I've said here. However I was still sent emails from their marketing team telling me about new offers and promotions. After a very strongly worded email back to them I finally was removed from the list. I wouldnt recommend you left your dog at this hotel for the night frankly....

...We stayed at Milsoms a couple of nights ago and did not have a fantastic experience. Yes, the food is excellent in the restaurant, but we were not happy to pay £4.75 for bread that arrived one minute before our main course. Also, there were several problems with our overnight stay in the hotel. When we arrived, our room was freezing cold, the radiator in the room was not working (and it snowed that night in Colchester!). A plumber had to be called out but it seemed surprising that the staff had not noticed the problem earlier. In fact, we got the impression that nobody had checked our room as there was only one teabag left for the two of us, only one sachet of hot chocolate and no white sugar.
