A hotel with no air conditioning in the rooms

Advantages: clean friendly great entertinement superb pool
Disadvantages: No Air conditioning (can you believe it ? )

...NO AIR CONDITIONING - A huge negative to this hotel, is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The heat is stifling - so it is very uncomfortable to sleep in. . .some take to sleeping on the balconies at night - yeah - dragging their mattresses outside. There are ceiling fans in the rooms, but they are in-efficient. It helps to keep your curtain drawn when you go out - but it is still too hot and uncomfortable to go up to your room - even if you want to go up for an afternoon snooze. LIFTS - There are 9 floors but and only three lifts but the lifts are very small - maybe 8 or 9 people max (and it won't move if you are over loaded !! ENTERTAINMENT - This is a matter of opinion. Advantages: luxurious, inside town centre, myconian/aegean views, excelent service, friendly stuff
Disadvantages: lots of rooms on the back with no views and too much traffic noise

...Although I've never stayed as a customer in Belvedere, I can easily give a review for this hotel as it's been lots of times that i visited friends who were staying there (and spent a couple of nights as a guest until I found a room for myself). As you can see from my other reviews, for the past 14 years, i 've spent most of my holidays on mykonos island, I sometimes visit the island more than twice a year, so i think i can have a clear opinion about the most of its well known bussinesses. Hotel Belvedere is a very well known bussiness in Mykonos. ...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time...

It is slightly further out just opposite the Castle Bill Bill and when you cross the road it?s a flat walk all the way to the marina which is away from the large hills on which many of the other hotels are located. Reception On arrival check in was swift and at this time we opted to pay for a safety deposit box we were then handed the safe key and card key to room 524 and pointed in the direction of the lifts. On looking round reception it was laid out with tables and chairs and also had a grand piano, a small bar ,toilets and computers with internet access.
