...Firstly Barton Grange hotel is no longer with Best Western. It is a Classic Hotel. Secondly it is 4 star! To quote their rating "A Deluxe 4 star hotel is exceptionally well maintained with deluxe standards of accommodation, facilities and public rooms that offer every comfort with excellent service." Do I agree? Well read on and you will see what I think! My husband was searching for a hotel half way between where we live in Scotland and where my sister and her husband live in England. We wanted to treat them for a special occasion. We wanted a bit of luxury, good food, an indoor pool and places nearby to visit whatever the weather. Advantages: Very close - in Graceland, clean and functional, a bit of Elvis feel, FREE bus to Memphis
Disadvantages: Not Elvis enough, VERY expensive souvenire shop, ordinary rooms

Review of Elvis Presley's HeartBreak Hotel, Memphis

A pricey break for an average hotel.

Advantages: Situated in a beautiful area, pleasant for a romantic break.
Disadvantages: Undergoing renovation, bit pricey, not as romantic as expected!

...I stayed at the Painswick Hotel with my husband, in August 2006, and again in mid-October. The first break was overnight in a standard double room, the second was for two nights in a luxury double room - both rooms had a bath and shower. Our first visit to this old Rectory in the beautiful Cotswold village of Painswick, was so enjoyable that we booked to go again. Each time , I booked via the internet on lastminute.com, therefore had a double room for £49, including breakfast. As it gives the feeling of quite a "posh" establishment, this seems good value for money, as you have some nice touches such as lovely white dressing gowns awaiting you in your room, little packs containing a shower cap, shoe polish and a sewing kit. Hotel Pez Espada: A great break in Torremolinos

Advantages: Great location, clean and very good looking hotel. Great food. Relaxing
Disadvantages: Bar prices were a little high but will not spoil the holiday!

...All you could want in a holiday! The rooms were very clean and had good quality air conditioning. Maids would call round daily with fresh towels and a tidy-up. The restauraunt offers a wide variety of very tasty buffet and cooked food, polite and helpful waiting staff. There is also a snack bar in the garden near the pool area with great tasty snacks on offer through the day. The hotel is 4* with 2 Great size and clean pools and a hot tub to coose from, as well as a lifeguard on hand. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds altho the prime spots are taken up very early! The evening entertainment was fab and usually of high quality. The hotel is positioned on the promenade, right on the beach front. Break up with this!

Advantages: Better than the first book...
Disadvantages: But not by much.

...rate a book such, but Penny Smith's debut Coming Up Next was fully deserving of that rating. I only read until the end so I could review it and warn other people about it, so I'm not sure what I was thinking when I got the follow up to that book from the library, After The Break. Penny is a well-known TV personality, presenting the news and other features on breakfast TV show GMTV, and this is echoed in the book with the lead character Katie presenting her own breakfast time show. Clearly it's not an original idea and didn't need much inspiration but I was hoping that it was going to be better than the awful debut, although it wouldn't have taken much to beat that. As I said, the character of Katie was also the lead in Penny's first book, so if you haven't read that one first, well done. Honestly, you haven't missed that much if you...

Have a break with Take a break!

Advantages: cheap, lots of stories and puzzles
Disadvantages: not high chances of winning the prizes due to amount of readers!

...I having been buying Take a Break for as long as I can remember. Every week I buy it with the intentions of doing the puzzles and sending the little form off but I often miss the deadline and end up thinking ''I'll do it with next weeks issue!'' However nowthe magazine have started allowing you to enter online - brilliant! Now I never miss an issue! I'ts an easy system to use simply by registering once and then every week to enter all you need to do is log in and select which issue you are entering and then inout the answers from all the quizzes into each little box provided and click submit! bob's your uncle! Anyway for those who aren't familiar with this weekly magazine let me give you an insight into it. Very Pleasant Hotel for Short Break

Advantages: Location, Price, Breakfast, TV, Walking Distance to Train Station

...I went to Rome for a 3 night city break, and came across this hotel on the Internet and booked it because it was cheap and it was available last minute. The hotel was 10 minutes walk from the main train station were I was dropped off from Rome-Ciampino airport. The receptionist spoke excellent English. The Rome was very pleasant and was far better than what I was expecting for a 2* hotel. It had a clean and functioning bathroom, double bed, good lighting and satelltie TV. As I was out nearly all day, everyday, the room did not bother that much. I was using it for sleeping and who cares what the room looks like when your knackered and all you need is a bed. ...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time...

Advantages: Really good real life stories & some fab recipes
Disadvantages: The chance of winning a competition is very low

...they have and how much it costs to make each one it's a very good recipe page there is usually about 4 recipes and there is always some goodies to make at Christmas, Halloween and bonfire night. *Lynn's Travel - This is a two-page spread that is dedicated to some country in the world that no one really thinks about travelling to. Its usually a far away land full of surprises and Lynn tells you all about the area, hotels, food, weather and currency it is a real eye opener and a good source to find out about a holiday destination. Definitely a section worth having a look at. OVERALL THOUGHT I think Take a Break is a real bargain it appeals to everyone I am 20 and read it my sister is 16 she reads it my mum is 40 she reads it and my gran is 72 and she reads it.
