Comfort in Buenos Aires
Advantages: Friendly staff, clean rooms
Disadvantages: Small lift, awful scrambled eggs
...The Kempinski Hotel is ideally located in the centre of Buenos Aires. You are within walking distance of numerous cafes, restaurants, shops, the metro, bus stops and many of the main attractions.
It is a small boutique hotel with friendly, competent staff who are happy to help you out.
We stayed in the hotel for 6 nights and were very happy with the place.

The Revival of South Central
Advantages: Much better than they used to be.
Disadvantages: Still a way to go.
...Well I know that this train company is still listed in Ciao as Connex South Central, but for the last year and a bit, this train service has changed hands. It is now run by a company called Govia, under the new name South Central.
