Hotel Costa Caleta - Didn't Costa Fortune

Advantages: Modern, Clean, Close to amenities and beach.

...My summer holiday of 2008 was spent in Fuerteventura and my hotel of choice was the Hotel Costa Caleta. The hotel is also known by its former name Hotel Ocean Costa Caleta. Address is Av. Alcalde Juan Ramón Soto Morales Caleta de Fuste Fuerteventura Spain Tel:+34-928547550 I'm not sure if the hotel offers any car parking facilities as I hadn't needed any. It's a 3 star rated hotel and is quite modern and situated quite centrally in the resort of Costa Caleta (or Caleta de Fuste, or Castillo as it is also known) Only a short 10-15 mins transfer time from the airport. It has over 300 rooms. It was built in 2005 so is still quite new. The hotel is only about 5-10 mins walk (5km) from the beach and the shops and parks are all nearby too. They do have internet facilities with 2 PC's in the lobby with pay to use internet...

...February 2009. Playa Caleta is rated a 4 star. Sunwing Travel advertises it as a Sunwing Club Exclusive...whatever that means? We would call it the ?Club Torture? The hotel has a spacious, open-concept lobby on two levels. The lobby and the rest of the hotel are filled with cigarette smoke. When we asked the front desk staff if there was any non-smoking public areas, they answered with giggles as they held their lit cigarettes below the counter. This is supposed to be a family hotel; if you or your children can survive the second-hand smoke that saturates everything, you will still have a family. Buses idled right in front of the open hotel entrance, filling the lobby with carbon monoxide. As we discovered, vehicles in Cuba have no exhaust standards. Benalmadena the Costa del Sol

Advantages: Friendly town with lots to do, a lovely holiday.

...COSTA DEL SOL Benalmadea Costa, I'm afraid I was always a bit of a 'travel snob' regarding the Costa del Sol. I envisaged the types of scene in TV's Benadorm, a type of Blackpool with sun. As members of a vacation club ( it was then Sunterra now Diamon Resorts) we had the opportunity for a weeks break for relatively few points at the Sahara Sunset in Benalmadea Costa, as we could get Easy Jet airfairs to Malaga for a very low price we decided to try it. We have been three times more since then - so needless to say I was not disappointed. Benalmadena is only 15 kilometers from Malaga Airport, car hire is easily obtainable but it is only 25 euros for a taxi from the airport and there are plenty of excursions and good public transport available in the resort. ...I stayed at Caleta Garden in the summer of 2004 with my father when I was 16. We arrived in the middle of the night, so had to wait until the morning to get a good feel of the hotel. The transfer was very short, so we were close to the airport which is always good, hot coaches are terrible! We were situated on the second floor of the hotel above the games room, overlooking the pool in the middle of the hotel (it was like apartments around the pool in the middle). It wasn't an amazingly beautiful view, but made getting to the pool in the morning nice and simple! When we entered the room we discovered a cockroach immediately, but aside from that, the room was perfectly clean and had sufficient amenties. Costa Azul. Waterfont hotel that won't costa lot

...I booked this hotel through Octopustravel and with the intention that it would be easy to get to and from the airport and it would be easy to get to the town from the hotel without much hassle. Both turned out to be very true. We got off the aeroplane at Palma and hopped on the number 1 bus outside the airport -right to the "port" of Palma- the marina. The bus announcement system announces the bus stops as it goes and the fare is minimal- less than 4 euros for two people to where we hopped off. Be sure to smile at the driver and say gracias! As I said, I booked through Octopustravel- a double room for my partner and myself. We presented the voucher at reception and they had a bit of a crisis-asking if we were absolutely sure we wanted a double room. We did. That was what I had booked. ...Costa Coffee have branches all over the UK. They serve a range of coffees teas and other drinks. Cafes are set out in a comfortable, modern style and the general feel is relaxed and casual. It is quite calming to be in a costa coffee shop and the smell is delicious. I really like the artwork they have on the walls - italian scenes - very funky and modern. They also have a range of plants making it feel quite homey. The tables, floor and toilets have always been clean and well stocked when ive been in - even at busy times. The staff have also been very friendly and efficient. Besides drinks they also serve cakes and snacks. These are also nice but sadly not homemade. Prices are in line with most other coffee shops but i still think they are a little expensive. Quality is probably slightly better than your average run...

...Costa Coffee is one of the 'great chains' of england and beyond (As far as i know). Almost anywhere you go, town, villages, and even supermarkets, you'll never be too far away from a costa. Costa Coffee started in America (I know. People say they are an italian brand but they are NOT), doing espresso bars around the country. They evolved since, and now you can find them in a LOT of places. They do a range of coffees, use pure ground coffee, top notch machines, and 'Professional Barristas' to serve you the perfect cup of coffee. From your morning cappuccino, to the afternoon espresso. At least, this is their promise. Whether they live up to it, is down to this review. As known by my other reviews, i am a coffee nut. It Costa lot but it was worth it!

...I'd never been into Costa Coffee before, until more recently that was when the delicious smells drifting out lured me in uncontrollablly. In Aberdeen, in the Trinity Centre (which can be found on Union Street), there is a Waterstones book store. If you go to the top/first floor you will find a Costa Coffee cafe. It looked quite a friendly little place, so we decided to give it a try. On the floor there are an arrangements of tables; some wooden and some metal. They are quite close together though so you have to squeeze your way through them. There was also a sofa and a low down table ideal for wheelchair users, which I thought was quite nice of them to provide - I'd never seen this facility before. At either side of the cafe you have book shelves, so people do come up here for books too (this was when I got drawn in!). Heading to...
