...the hotel groups website, by calling a central reservations number, by calling the hotel directly and most likely through your locale travel agents alothough i wouldn't recommend this as it will work out much more expensive that contacting the hotel directly. I would definatly recommend a visit to this hotel especially for a special occassion, the staff are always friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile, for example several times they've made food for me not on the menu just because i enquired as to whether they did do it or not. Also if you have an american express card you can often get deals on buy one get one night free in de vere hotels, and sometimes a free upgrade (the reason i got junior suites both time!)... ...My husband and I stayed here a year or so ago, he took me for a surprise weekend away and I was very impressed with the hotel. He firstly choose De vere's as they are known to have very nice, luxury hotels at quite good prices in good locations. This location was fantastic. At first though I must admit I was a bit disappointed because looking at the photograph of the hotel you expect it to have a lovely huge green area in front of it but that is actually the park next to the hotel. The hotel is situated right in the town and not really surrounded by green area at all as the photo suggests but never mind, it did not put us off. The location like I said was in town, just a short walk down the road (Regent Street) to all the shops and restaurants so after a great day sightseeing etc it did not take long to get back "home". ...you walk in as your not a regular, as most ppl in pubs do nowadays. The other thing was when we arrived we was shown to out room which was another nice room but was not the bridal suite I went back to reception and they apologised and moved us straight away. So if anybody is going to travel from stansred and wants a friendly clean warm hotel at a great price book the de salis you wont be dissapointed. We will be going back in the next year, but I dont think we will have the same room.... Read review

...We chose to visit the Holiday Inn Alicante Playa de San Juan for a week in July after having three very pleasant stays in Express by Holiday Inns in the UK. We were not sure what to expect in terms of quality, however it was probably one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. The cost was €94 per night for an en suite room with king size bed and an “almost double” sofa bed. The room was on the third floor of the hotel and had a view of another apartment block to the rear of the hotel. However, this did not cause any problems as the apartments were quite a distance from the hotel, therefore not blocking the panoramic view. THE HOTEL The hotel building is over 7 floors: the ground floor, floors 1 to 5 and a floor called '-1'. If you are given a room on the '-1' floor, don't think that they are shoving you... ...I like something a little bit different and out of the ordinary. When looking for accommodation for a night in Bruges in Belgium I stumbled across De Barge ,which is a hotel in an old converted canal barge and immediately was drawn to it. It looked very cosy, quirky and more importantly was within our budget. My instincts were right. I am not a seasoned traveler and a night in a hotel is a bit of a treat for me so I wanted it to be fairly special. It seemed to have decent enough reviews on travel websites and a colleague had coincidentally recently spent a night at De Barge and really sang its praises saying it was “the best hotel she had ever stayed at”. Advantages: Near Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport

...There is a free shuttle service running from the airport terminals and vice versa, however they are only small and only carry around 7 people at a time. The hotel is situated in a business area, so you can not really walk around to see nearby villages as it is really quiet and a bit eerie after dark. The hotel itself is clean and tidy,we had trouble to start off with as our keycard would not work to open our room, so had to be allocated another keycard and another room, this keycard also did not work so we were allocated a third card. Check in however was quick, the shuttle service should in my opinion be larger to carry more passengers as some people had to wait for the next one. The hotel is about six miles away from the airport and the trip takes 10-15 minutes. The room was of normal size as hotel rooms go the bed... Read review

...The hotel is in the old part of Lille. everything is in walking distance, even the Eurostar station (only about 5-10 mins on foot) The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfasts had no 'hot' dishes, just lovely French sticks, croissants, pan au chocolate , the usual cold meats & cheese, cereals etc. Tea & coffee out of those big flask things! No bar. The bedroom was cleaned daily as was the shower/toilet / bath. The only downside was the size of the room - it was really small. Hardly any room between the side of the double bed and the patio doors. My wife & I are not big people, but it really was cramped. There was a balcony , but not a great view (into the next building), though you could see the imposing cathedral which is just behind the hotel. We were unlucky with the room size, others in the hotel were bigger.... Read review

...We visted the Hotel Armadams for our honeymoon back in October 2006 for a short break to take in the sights and sounds of Palma. It is situated one "block" away from the main promenade in Palma, a road lined on one side with bars, hotels, shops and the marina and harbour area on the other. I am not a great Spanish speaker, infact I know only the most basic of phrases to muddle through, but the staff were very understanding and very helpful, even though we weren't checking in until really late following a delayed flight. The room was exceptional. Clean crisp tiled floors beautufully airy which really made a good first impression. We had a view looking out at the flats opposite, but a sneaky view between the buildings to the goregous marina opposite. Features of the room were also impressive, with a mini bar, television... ...I have stayed at this hotel on three occasions, mainly through attending work related conferences at the attached Bolton Wanderers Football Club. To look at from the outside it is a tad strange, a football stadium with a hotel built into one side - please don't be put off, if you are not a Bolton fan, as soon as you enter the hotel lobby you can forget all about the beautiful game. If you are there for the football, there is absolutely no better location! The lobby is an impressive affair with large reception desk, the staff at which I have always found efficient, and a beautiful imposing sweeping staircase. Once checked in, it is up to the rooms, but on the way please check out those great carpets that flow effortlessly and seemingly join free around the communal areas and down the corridors. ...It was pure chance that we stayed at the Paradis Park Hotel in Pineda De Mar. Whilst looking for a cheap and cheerful last minute deal to get some sun I spotted a package to the Calella Palace Hotel through Teletext holidays online. After a bit of research the decision was made to book it, however, the dates we wanted weren't available. We were offered an allocation on arrival for the same price, or for an extra £45 each we could have an alternative named hotel of the same rating. Being unadventurous I opted for the latter and was given the choice of the Alexis Hotel (I had previously read reviews all of which were bad) and the Paradis Park Hotel.
