Advantages: close to the beach
Disadvantages: service poor.

Castilla Alicante - an oasis of calm efficiency.
Advantages: Friendly staff, great location, efficiently run and QUIET!
Disadvantages: This is the way a hotel should be run.
...I picked the Castilla Alicante Hotel last year, more or less at random, as I was looking for a place right beside a good beach in Alicante. Our family's lovely new Irish/Spanish Grand-daughter there is the reason! We checked-in rather late and the first impression was good.. When we saw the room we realised we would prefer one with a stand-up shower, I popped down to Reception and lady there...
