...Well I have nearly reviewed all the hotels I saw recently on my Paris trip although I still have some other things to review too from the trip! This hotel is one of the ones I had not really heard much about so didn't really have any prior opinions of it or know what to expect before arriving. The hotel: The hotel is a 3 star hotel that is quite traditional in terms of the style of the building. The hotel is fairly small with 50 rooms along with a small breakfast room and a small lobby lounge. Location: The hotel is located in the Montmartre area of Paris at 5 Rue Tholozé in the 18th Arondissemont. It is very near to the famous Moulin Rouge theatre and the Sacre Coeur and is surrounded by lots of little cafes and small restaurants. Mirador Des Concrete Works!

Advantages: Excellent Location
Disadvantages: No major ones

We decided to spend a long weekend in Minorca?s Capital, Mahon and found this hotel through Octopus Travel; we paid £454.00 for 4 night?s bed and breakfast for three adults in a triple room over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Location: 8½/10 The Hotel is situated in a nice quiet residential area about ten minutes walk from the centre of Mahon and only 5kms from the airport. It is set on a cliff above the port which can be reached down a long and steep road at the back of the hotel or by a large set of steps from the centre of the city. Appearance: 8½/10 Quite modern and well kept, with a large terrace area at the side. Parking: 0/10 None! Krak des Chevaliers-ultimate castle experience

Advantages: Beautiful, imposing and impressive medieval castle
Disadvantages: Slightly difficult to get to independently

...Krak des Chevaliers (Castle of the Knights) is the ultimate medieval castle and the dream of any child who ever played at knights and dragons or other games on the theme of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. It is one of few places I have been that has exceeded the childhood fantasy and taken on an imagination of its own. Given its largely European appearance Krak des Chevaliers stands out somewhat in its location in south Syria near the town of Homs. The principal reason for this apparent anomaly is of course that the castle was primarily built by Order of the Knights of St John between 1142 and 1271 and is a classic crusader castle. Hotel La Villa Des Artistes, Paris

Advantages: Very close to restaurants and bars in Montparnasse area and very quiet situation so you get a good nights sleep
Disadvantages: None

...We arrived at Gare du Nord, Paris during the afternoon of March 26th 2006 and took the No. 4 metro line towards the Vavin stop. This hotel is part of the Best Western Group and is about a five minute walk from the metro and is situated in a side street. We asked for a non smoking room and got a non smoking room. Our twin room was on the fifth floor, accessed by a small lift. It wasn't very big but as we were only staying for a couple of nights it didn't matter too much. There was a small table next to my bed and there wasn't much room between it and the bathroom door which opened out into the room. We had a television and a mini bar although we didn't use it because the drinks were too expensive. The bathroom was clean and modern, but the shower head took a little time to get used to. We had lovely fluffy white towels...

A lovely hotel in the Swiss Alps

Advantages: Friendly staff, excellent food
Disadvantages: Limited disabled access, only 12 rooms

...of nowhere but in fact the E43, one the main routes through the Alps, between Northern Italy and Zurich lies only about five kilometres away. That said, there is no sound of traffic and the only sounds here are of the cow bells from the cattle that walk down Donat's only street. The exterior of the hotel looked exactly as I remembered it. Large and square with a dark timber roof and wooden shutters around each of its windows. The hotel's car park is directly opposite the hotel entrance but it is only small, with room for about a dozen cars. Since the hotel only has twelve rooms this does however usually tend to be sufficient in size. ...the hotel is famous for the artists and authors who have stayed there. The hotel is located just five minutes walk from St. Mark's Square. so a brilliant location only problem is finding it the first time as the directions to the hotel given by the hotel seem very complicated and not easy to follow. It is only 15 minutes from Rialto bridge and even closer to Acadamier so a perfect location. It is located in a quiet thoroughfare so no street noise . It is right by the famous opera house that was burnt down and has now been rebuilt in all its glory although to go for a tour is by special arrangement only. Very Pleasant Hotel for Short Break

...I went to Rome for a 3 night city break, and came across this hotel on the Internet and booked it because it was cheap and it was available last minute. The hotel was 10 minutes walk from the main train station were I was dropped off from Rome-Ciampino airport. The receptionist spoke excellent English. The Rome was very pleasant and was far better than what I was expecting for a 2* hotel. It had a clean and functioning bathroom, double bed, good lighting and satelltie TV. As I was out nearly all day, everyday, the room did not bother that much. I was using it for sleeping and who cares what the room looks like when your knackered and all you need is a bed. ...I stayed at the four star Tirolerhof this year in July on half board basis. The hotel is in a fantastic rural location with lovely views of the surrouding countryside. We had a spacious superior room with a large balcony and a lovely view. Room facilities included satellite tv, hairdryer, safe, telephone and en suite bathroom. The highlight of our stay has to be the food! A hot and cold buffet is served for breakfast with a great range of breads, pastries, cereals, ham, cheese and yoghurts to choose from as well as eggs, bacon and sausages. Dinner is a gourmet four course- an entree, soup, main course and desert and is absoultely delicious- a mix of austrain food and modern cuisine! A barbecue and market buffet is served twice a week. ...Located in the southern French Alps, and close to Alpe D'Huez and Serre Chevalier, Les Deux Alpes might not be the first ski resort that springs to mind when you think of European skiing. It's a little unfair as, on an individual basis, the resort compares extremely well to just about any in France. It is the second oldest in resort in the country, after the world famous Chamonix and can boast more than 200km of runs to itself.
