Sheraton Doha is an amazing old style 5* hotel
Advantages: 5* service, excellent food, clean big rooms with seating areas
Disadvantages: None
...like you're dining at a really posh expensive restaurant. The selection of wines was also excellent, considering it's in Doha, which is quite a traditional place.
The hotel has it's own beach with lounging chairs. I didn't get to see the gym (I was on holiday lol) but a friend said he was really surprised with the facilities. Apparently they had every concievable machine. They also have...

Get City Centre Hotel, in ROME!
Advantages: Great clean hotel, close to the train station and the centre of Rome
Disadvantages: Not very friendly to young couples
...Alex, and said look you can pick a hotel, flights and everything ? I wasn?t in university and I was happy to do whatever he decided. We?d originally planned to go over our anniversary in September but due to a surprise birthday present for me, we ended up going in August, so this really was the hottest time we could have gone to Rome. Regardless though it was a lovely break!
