...If you are thinking of going to Belfast then this is the place to stay. Situated in Belfast city center the Europa is a popular hotel with the tourists. The hotel is crammed with friendly staff who are always there ready to help. The food in the hotel is very nice and they also have a buffet style in the morning but if it is not what you like then you can just stroll around the corner into the center. There you will find lots of bars,nightclubs,restaurants and Irish pubs. The rooms are very modern and up to date and the whole hotel is spotless from top to bottom. If you are going to stay then make sure you bring a big wallet because the hotel can be pricey and you may also want some ear plugs for night time because around the hotel can get pretty noisy epically on weekends. ...If you are going to Belfast then you got to check out this hotel. I loved this hotel. I thought that the hotel was very modern and up to date and also it was very clean. I thought that the hotel staff were very helpful and they were always willing to give a helping hand. The hotel is located in the very center of Belfast surrounded by clubs, pubs restaurants and there are lots of shops as well. Next door to the hotel is a bus station. I was visiting for a week and when I went into the bus station I was able to book trips to visit what the north has to offer. My only downsides about this hotel were that it was a little bit too noisy and the price of the food and drink was high. So if your visiting then you will really enjoy yourself but remember to bring along some ear plugs and a massive wallet....

A hotel in the heart of New York City

Advantages: Great Location, Clean and Friendly Staff
Disadvantages: Views from hotel itself not great, no free wi fi

...My boyfriend turned 30 a few weeks ago and for his present I booked us a trip to New York and the Wellington Hotel is where I picked for us to stay due to its central location in Manhattan. Last Wednesday we flew out to NYC and checked into the Wellington. If you didn't know already this is where part of the Borat film was made, the main scene being where he tries to unpack his things in the lift thinking its his room and so many Borat jokes ensued in the elevators during our stay. The location of the hotel is amazing, its a 1 minute walk from Carnegie Hall, 2 minutes from Central Park and 5 minutes from Times Square and is located on the corner of 55th Street and 7th Avenue. Apex City of London Hotel - outstanding

Advantages: Lovely staff, beautiful rooms, modern hotel

...We wanted to stay somewhere in central London that was value for money, and found this brilliant hotel for only £69 per night. We booked directly with the hotel itself, and while the system can be a little frustrating the transaction went through smoothly. This was in December 2008, so we didn't expect any decent hotels so close to Christmas to be so cheap. While this hotel is a little out of the way of main attractions it is close to the Tower of London, and to Tower Bridge and easily accessible by bus and tube. On arriving by tube, we found the hotel was alittle bit tricky to find, and were saved only by the fact that by boyfriend's phone has sat-nav! On arriving we were greeted by friendly and efficeint staff. The entrance to the hotel was modern and swish, befitting a four star hotel with marble and stainless tell everywhere...

...After reading the other two ops in this category on the Europa, I was really looking forward to my stay here. Over the last few years through both business and pleasure I have stayed in hotels the length and breadth of not only the UK but mainland Europe and have come to the conclusion that you have seen one room, you have seen them all and to stick out from the crowd they have to possess something pretty special, such as my 6? 6? bed in Amsterdam or my 3ft deep bath in Prague, well I am sad to say that the Europa let me down on both these fronts but more about that later. City Hotel Bratislava

Advantages: Reasonably priced, clean, modern
Disadvantages: Not in the city centre as one might reasonably assume from the name

...We stayed her for one night. It's billed as close to City Centre but this is not strictly true. It is a bus, tram or trolley-bus ride away and will take an average of about 20 minutes to get there. It may save a lot of hassle to take a taxi which at about £5 is a reasonably priced option. The hotel is bright, clean and modern. The room we had was a twin superior, non smoking room on 9th floor with a small balcony. We had only paid for a standard room but were upgraded without additional cost on arrival. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom though small was adequate with snow white fluffy towels and a nice display of freebies.The breakfast buffet was extensive and plentiful and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definetly stay here again....

Fantastic Hotel

Advantages: Immaculate rooms, polite and courteous staff
Disadvantages: Bathroom became rather hot and damp

...Spent three nights at the Europa Tyrol, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is located opposite to the main station in Innsbruck and is only a short walk to the shops and the Golden Roof which is at the heart of the city. The hotel is actually connected to the main railway via a tunnel which offers exclusive use for guests. The rooms were immaculate, and very nicely furnished. My room had a typical Tyrolean feel which resembled a log cabin. The rooms were rather compact, however were sufficient. The bathroom was quite large and had a bath/ shower. My room however did not seem to have any ventilation in the bathroom and it did become rather damp and hot. The bedroom was air conditioned which due to the lovely weather was a godsend. The staff were all polite and would tend to every need. The bar area was clean...

Whatever you name New York City it is the largest city in America and has much to offer visitors all around the world. Traveling to New York gave me the opportunity to explore this wonderful City. There is so much to do and see that I was never bored. Travelling through New York is easy as most places are within walking distance and if not you can get a tube or bus. There are many hotels to choose from and finding the right one can be a difficult choice. We chose The Wellington Hotel. I thought it was the right decision when I booked it and as soon as I saw the hotel I knew I had made the right decision. Fab priced hotel in the thick of New York City!

Advantages: Cheap, right by Times Square, friendly staff
Disadvantages: Rooms may be too small for some fussy travellers!

...When I was booking a holiday for my partner and I to go to New York, I did a lot of research about hotels, locations, sight-seeing spots etc and then tried to find the best one out of a huge list I made. I didn't want to pay a lot for the hotel because I knew we wouldn't be in it much, and when I saw the Best Western name, I thought it would be a good idea to stick with what I know! So I booked 4 nights in this hotel in December 2005, my second trip to the fantastic NYC. We easily got a transfer from the airport, and gave the driver the address which I had printed out before we left the UK. We speedily set off into the manic NYC traffic in our little yellow cab, and were there within about 1 hour, not bad considering the traffic! The hotel had a nice frontage, it was all gold, had loads of Christmas lights and little Christmas trees...
