Serre Chevalier - Chantemerle 1350
Advantages: Good variety of runs
Disadvantages: Snowfall seems to have reduced
...I have been to Serre Chevalier, more specifically Chantemerle 1350, 3 times now.
Serre Chevalier is in the southern alps on the border with Italy and has always supplied good snow and sunshine when I have been. It is split into 3 different stations with Chantemerle being, in my opinion, the best as it is a picturesque little village at the base of the Luc Alphand black run. I have never used...

Review of Serre-Chevalier

Ups and Downs of Serre Chevalier
Advantages: brilliant skiing, alpine village prettiness,great English speaking ski school, Close to Italy and other resorts.
Disadvantages: Not to great for veggies and nightlife fairly low key.
...So far i have only skied 4 times, in Flaine (France), Serre Chevalier (France.....obviously!!), Borovets (Bulgaria) and Bad Hofgetein (Austria).
Serre Chevalier has been the most enjoyable for the following reasons:
Many of France's ski resorts are high altidude and therefore purpose built, usually with concrete grey buildings and not much else. Serre Chevalier is a pretty alpine style village...

Review of Serre-Chevalier

Basic Parisian hotel... but a brilliant location.
Advantages: Close to some good shops, a good metro station and not far from the Eiffel Tower.
Disadvantages: Tiny room, paper thin walls (and I MEAN paper thin) and quite tired rooms.
...* hotel as it was in a good location and it looked nice enough on the pictures, it wasn't badly priced too compared to similar hotels in Paris.
The Hotel's Location
Europe Hotel is in an ideal location on a busy street. It's situated only a 10-15 minute walk away from the Effiel Tower, which was amusing on our first day as we stood with a map wondering where the busy street we were standing in...
