...I felt obliged to write this review having nearly been put off going by other picky small minded people, we have just returned from a 5 day break at the Golden coast park, Woolacome we went along expecting not a great deal after the reviews on here. When we arrived at the place, unfortunately we had been allocated a caravan which was not to the higgest of standards and certainly not somewhere I wanted to spend my time in (my advice would be to upgrade in advance), never the less we were more then happy to pay the extra and upgrade after all we had only paid about £67.00 for the holiday so far, booked via The Sun newspaper, so we went back to reception and very politely asked if there was a possibilty of upgrading, we were advised we could upgrade for £62.00 to a lodge which we looked round before commiting to, as soon as i walked...

Golden Donaire Park hotel, La PIneda, Salou

...Having just returned from an early season (early May 2009) week at the Donaire park, La Pineda with our 3 year old I would definately recommend this hotel for families with younger kids but it would also be a great base for anyone who wants to visit the areas around Salou and Barcelona. there were organised trips to go on and a regular bus service or coach and rail services available. The weather was a bit cloudy but mostly sunny but this didn't stop us enjoying our time there. Our little girl loved the kids tots club sessions and daily evening mini disco's started at 8:30pm (the entertainment staff were great and kept all the kids entertained with their dance moves and sing-along routines). ...Intro Coast is my favourite shop in the world. The prices are such that I am unable to pop in and buy something every week (until I win the lottery that is!) . That aside I would rather save up for something special from Coast rather than go to the cheap shops I normally frequent all the time. The quality of the material is gorgeous, you always feel special in a Coast outfit and I love the design of nearly everything in the shop! You will also see below how everyone can afford something in Coast if they go there in the sales. Incidentally the stores are dotted all over Britian and there is nearly always one in your Debenhams, House of Fraser or Beatties. After much deliberation we decided to try the Atlantica Golden Beach and were not disappointed. This is a Thomson Gold Hotel and we received Gold service from the minute we booked. Everyone was so friendly. When we arrived into Paphos airport we were quickly shown to our bus and because it is a Gold hotel you are dropped off first. ...Contrary to what the name on 'ciao' says the Golden Donaire Park is actually in the town of La Pineda just outside Salou. After seeing the hotel in the Thompson Skytours brouchure, I fell in love. From what I could see from the pictures the hotel was right on the sea front, and I wasn't disapointed when I arrived. ON ARRIVAL: Our flight times had been changed so me and my boyfriend arrived at the hotel earlier than expeceted. The room wasn't ready but the pleasent lady on recepetion told us it would be only another hour and offered to put out luggage in the secure luggage room in reception. We went and sat in the little snack bar area at the front of the hotel overlooking the sea and had a drink.
