Louis King Jason Hotel, Cyprus

Advantages: Clean, spaceous, pool, gym, sauna, restaurant, friendly staff.
Disadvantages: Antiquated equipment in gym, low chlorine levels in pools.

...I arrived at this hotel on the 7th December 2005 for a weeks long 'winter sun' holiday. From Paphos airport, the hotel was very simple to find,despite the various building projects going on in the surrounding area (will not affect quality of stay). I was very encouraged to see numerous awards from 'Thomson Holidays' on the wall, for various accolades such as 'Best Winter Sun Apartments' and 'Best Summer Sun Apartments' for countless years, with the last one being awarded for the Winter of 2004. Upon arrival, the hotel staff were very friendly and were on hand with a much welcomed glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Our bags were taken from us and placed in our rooms. We were informed of our arrangements and given our keys and allowed to procede to our room. The rooms are very spaceous, I was staying in a 4 bed apartment...

kings hotel

Advantages: cheap but luxurious

...One of the best hotels Ive stayed in and Ive stayed in many. We went in december out of season and got a double room for about 30 pounds. Bargain. I was happily surprised when I openend the door and found a gorgeous room with a four poster bed. Vey elegant. The room was lovely and warm and the bathroom was very modern if a bit on the small side but who cares the shower was great. There was loads of useful brochures about munich. There was a wonderful breakfast buffet in the morning. well it was more like a three course meal, there was everything meat, fish, cheese as well as all the other breakfast usuals. The staff were proffesional and genuinely friendly and not at all arrogant. well reccomended!!!!!!...

The King Charles Hotel

Advantages: Not a bad price, decent rooms.
Disadvantages: A bit basic!

...I've stayed in this hotel a few times, and to be honest, it's not a bad hotel. The facilities are exactly what you'd expect for the price, it's a bit basic but if you are just looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights, it's not bad. Right, I'll start with where it is. The address is Brompton Road, Gillingham, Kent and it is situated right next to the Black Lion Leisure Centre. It's about a 15 minute walk from Gillingham Train Station, or there is Chatham Train Station which is about a 30 minute walk away. There are obviously regular buses which stop near the hotel or taxi's if you don't fancy braving the buses. There's a lot of attractions nearby if you are planning to sight-see. There's Gillingham High Street 5 minutes from the hotel, which is basic and small, but it's not bad for a couple of hours shopping...

Ascos Coral Beach Hotel,Cyprus. One of the nicest hotels.

Advantages: Close to beach, peaceful , no children, close to bars
Disadvantages: Shingle beach by hotel.

...We stayed at the Ascos Coral beach Hotel ,Cyprus, in June 2009. The hotel, during the summer months is for adults only,which if your are on a relaxing holiday makes a big difference. Once you enter the hotel you can notice straight away that there are no children running around, its very peaceful. The hotel is around half an hour drive from the airport at Paphos. It is located on the coast and has a pathway down to a shingle beach which to be honest we did not use as it was a bit awkward to walk along. The shops, not many mind, and the bars are about a five minutes walk. If you want to go to the coral bay beach it would take you around 15 minutes to walk there at the most, and to drive there it would take around 1 minute. Seven nights HB at the 4* Tsokkos Gardens Hotel, Protaras, Cyprus October, 2002 Through Goldensun - booked over the internet. We paid £844 each for two adults + £292 for one child. Our first visit to Cyprus Flight We flew with Eurocypria on the 10.10pm out of Gatwick arriving at Larnaca in the small hours. There was no in flight entertainment at all so don't forget your Walkman or a large paperback. The journey was a bit of a trial, fortunately our five year old slept on the plane which made life a bit easier. ...I didn't know quite where to place this review for this hotel so I thought this was as good a place as any. With a possibility of a larger audience to read. What we booked with First Choice was a Fourteen Night All Inclusive Package at the Hotel Papantonia, Protaras, Cyprus in October 2004. The cost was £679 each for two adults and one free child place - if we flew out from Stansted but we couldn't have a free child place if we flew from Gatwick. Oh well, Stansted is handy only just up the road - willing to try something different - afterall a plane is a plane doesn't matter which airport you fly from. This was our first visit to Cyprus as a family unit. ...Me and my husband stayed at the Laura Beach hotel Cyprus from 20th June to 28th June 2007 with Libra holidays. Please note this hotel is also known as Luca Laura Beach and also Cyprotel Laura Beach depending on the brochure, I questioned the rep about this and apparently it used to be part of the Luca group of hotels but has been de-branded. We paid £400 each all inclusive including reserved flight seats. HOTEL The hotel is situated about 30-40 minutes drive from the airport but this does depend on how many drop off's there are.
