Le coco Hotel
Advantages: Good Food
Disadvantages: Large and shabby
...Mauritius has always sounded like and advertised as the dream tropical island and when you book with your travel agent or on the web you are driven by the white beaches, luxury hotels and the vision of a tropical island.
The le Coco Beach hotel is situated on its own white beach perfectly clean and manicured each morning.
The hotel is only a 3 star hotel and its fair to say, showing its age.
We had a room overlooking the beach it was clean and the sheets and towels were changed each day.
the bathroom was a big dissapointment mold on the tiles and fitting falling off.
The hotel did do there bestto rectify the problems however it did take the edge off the excellent servic of the staff.
We were going to upgrade to a superior bungalow, but overall the room with its view was the better option.
our package was all...

The most charming hotel I have ever stayed in!
Advantages: Location, service, decor
Disadvantages: Absolutely none
...of my experiences of Paris as a whole. To sum up, I had a fantastic time in Paris and at the Residence Foch specifically. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris who wants individual and quiet accomodation within easy reach of the Metro system. I will DEFINITELY be staying here with my boyfriend next time I go to Paris....

BW Le PHOEBUS - A Hotel Fit For The Gods
Advantages: Location, facilities, pretty much everything
Disadvantages: Rooms aren't huge
...While I was planning a trip to the Languedoc region of France last September, I searched for a suitable hotel. Somewhere where we could relax for a couple of days in nice surroundings and still have plenty to do. Near the beach, but also close to some historic sites if we chose to visit. In the BEST WESTERN Le PHOEBUS, I found exactly what I was looking for.
The hotel is situated on the edge of the ancient village of GRUISSAN, between the new development of Gruissan-Plage and the lagoon, just off the main Gruissan-Narbonne road - it's 10 minutes from Exit 37 on the A9 m/way.
GRUISSAN is a picturesque, medieval village. Built in a circular fashion, the narrow, winding lanes lead up the hill to the 10th century castle. The village sits on a peninsula which juts out into the salt-water lagoon, whilst behind the village is...

Le Meridien Hotel, St. Julian's - Malta
Advantages: Staff, Facilities, Location
Disadvantages: Lift speed.
...On my recent holiday to Malta i stayed in Le Meridien Hotel, located in Saint Julian's. I would not normally have stayed in a 5 star hotel, but I was lucky enough to win some money towards a holiday from the company that I work for. Obviously, with free money, you are going to push the boat out a bit, and I am glad we did!!
Location/Area
We arrived at the hotel in the dark, quite late on a Friday night. The taxi brought us round a few small streets and then up quite a steep hill, thus bringing us to the reception of the hotel. My first impression was that it was in quite a strange location, but this is because i had only just seen where we were, and also it was dark, so everything seems different. The doors to the reception are round the back of the hotel and on the ground level floor.
The hotel itself is situated on top...

Kyriad Hotel, Magny-le-Hongre - Nothing bad but nothing special
Advantages: Clean, good shuttle bus service
Disadvantages: Not much to do, just a pit stop for Disney Land
...I stayed at this hotel in October 2007 and had a pleasant stay. The welcome area is clean and friendly, with a small bar and a shop near the check in desk. There's also a small toddlers indoor play area in this area. This is probably the nicest part of the complex, although it is pretty small. The corridors are quite dark and dull, but the rooms are decent and have traditional decor. I remember the beds being quite comfortable, which was nice after staying in an extremely uncomfortable Holiday Inn bed the night before. The outside is decorated nicely, with plants and flowers and is kept very tidy. However, the eating area was a disappointment and was basically a cafeteria. The food was quite nice and you could keep going up for more, but there was no atmosphere and it felt like everyone had been shoved in there not because they wanted to...

Le Spa, a day in Paradise
Advantages: Elegant, Beautiful and very relaxing
Disadvantages: The cost of the treatments can mount quickly.
...A couple of years ago, my parents were trying to decide what to get me for my birthday, and decide to treat me to a stay at Le Spa. My friend who lives in the area and is a member of Le Spa's Gym decided to spend the day having treatments with me. I was advised to arrive at the hotel at 9am to book in for my treatments whilst having a relaxing cup of tea. During which time, my luggage would be taken to my room and the booking in forms would be delivered to me during lunch. Cool, I thought no rushing around with checking in and booking treatments before everything was fully booked.
I duly arrived at 9am, and headed for the entrance. The door was locked, with a note up saying Le Spa would be open at 10am. Intriguing seen as I was told to arrive at 9am. I had a look around for another entrance or someone to ask about the mix up. There...

Paradise at Le Coco Beach
Advantages: stunning location, on the beach, outstanding service
Disadvantages: too many people, but it is a popular hotel
...What a fantastic hotel. It's has a beach from location so it's just seconds away from the white sands and turquise seas.
Simply breathtaking!!!!
The hotel isnt cramed into a small area...it's set on a spacious estate, about 80 acres. There are coconut trees spread out around the area, and looks very tropical.
For 3 star plus hotel, you dont get anything better than this in Mauritius. It has everything you need. You have the option to do either half board or all inclusive. In my experience, do the all inclusive. The food in the restaurants are deliciuos.
The hotel has many facilties and is ideal if you have small children. And for those who love sports, Le Coco Beach is the place to be.
Below are only some of the facilities you will find at the Le Coco Beach.
The Facilities...

LE AVERAGE
Advantages: Good location
Disadvantages: Cack hotel
...When we recently had a team meeting in London, a friend of mine was given the task of arranging somewhere to eat and I was tasked with finding somewhere to sleep. This was good news because I got to choose a hotel that was convenient for me. Selfish, aren?t I? Oh well.
WHY I CHOSE LE MERIDIEN RUSSELL
Although I do occasionally venture out further, I tend to book hotels that are close to Euston or King?s Cross railway stations because this is where most of my team arrive by train and because all our company buildings are that side of town. The last time I was in town, I stayed in the Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury, which certainly isn?t bad after its refit, but I was unable to get seven rooms for the date I had in mind. Over on www.laterooms.com I spotted a discount in Le Meridien, Russell Square from £220 per night to £89. This...

Le Samourai
Advantages: Great Film
Disadvantages: Viewing Aspect ratio is Low
...Le Samourai
There is a small bird in a cage in a dull looking apartment room, a man wearing a trench coat and a felt hat, and he goes out of the room and adjusts his hat.
Jeff Costello (Alain Delone) then jumps into a car, with a set of master keys. He starts the car, and smokes a cigarette. Eventually he finds the right key by good luck and drives off. He then meets a criminal mechanic. The mechanic gives Jeff some cash, later goes to his pocket and gives him a gun. Here during this scene not a word is spoken. This film is low on dialogue though maintains a great sense of direction, pace and focus throughout. The suspense of each scene and the plot is amazing to watch.
He then goes to a flat and meets a young woman who is named Jane (Anthoine Delone). She is a woman who is there to provide an alibi for Jeff. It does not...

Le coco Beach experience
Advantages: Great for kids, fantastic staff
Disadvantages: Not great for couples, a bit sore on the eyes
...My mother and me visited Le Coco Beach for a five day holiday. After about an hours transfer from the airport we arrived on the East coast of the island at Le Coco beach hotel where our inital intake was of disappointment because we were hoping for a more authentic Mauritian experience, and arrived at a hotel that reminded us much of disneyland with its over the top colours and patterns you really want to wear sunglasses all the time! If allergic to bright fake atmospheres this hotels is not for you! Although on that note it looks great for kids.
We chose the standard rooms, which have airconditioning ( a blessing in the heat), television and en Suite bathroom. The rooms were brightly coloured with palm trees and colourful mirrors and a great view off the balcony which overlooked the swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The rooms...
