A Native's View in a Long Review - Long Island

Advantages: Diverse, not NYC, interesting places, reasonably easy to get to
Disadvantages: The accent. There are areas of limited interest and economic hardship

...Are you from abroad...or at least from far away? Are you visiting New York City? I suspect you are planning on visiting shops, museums, tall buildings, and maybe even a big statue of a lady holding a torch. It is, however, entirely possible, that unless you have friends there, the suburbs on Long Island are not part of your plans. But perhaps they should be. After all, The Great Gatsby was set...

Hotel New York, Disneyland Paris

Advantages: clean, luxurious, location, characters
Disadvantages: cleaner stole but would have happened in any resort hotel

...When we came to be looking to book to go to Disneyland Paris we obviously had to spend a bit of time thinking about the accomodation that we wanted to stay in. Most of the people I knew had stayed in the Hotel Cheyenne which was one of the cheaper hotels on the resort but we decided that we wanted to stay closer to the Disney village and parks and so we decided to stay in the Hotel New York...

Bring Me Your Imagination! Ellis Island New York, USA

Advantages: Incredibly well laid out and fascinating.
Disadvantages: I am trying hard but I can't think of any!

...superb. Access was easy for all and the entrance price very reasonable. Food and drink were available in a very pleasant cafe and the ubiquitous souvenir shop was tucked away at the back! If you are ever lucky enough to be in New York please spend at least half a day on Ellis Island. It will alter and enrich your perception of the people of America. You never know, you might find some long lost...
