Advantages: Excellent location and good value for money
Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people

...The Hotel The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style. The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre. I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming. The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest...

Just another Novotel.....or is it?

Advantages: Clean, very modern, nice rooms and great rates
Disadvantages: Some will prefer a hotel closer to the Champs Elysee

...Another hotel in my recent hotel visit to Paris and this time the Novotel Tour Eiffel. I was really looking forward to arriving at this hotel because I had heard so much about it and so I already had an idea in my head about what it would be like. The hotel: The hotel is a 4 star hotel that is located quite close to the Eiffel tower on the left bank in the 15th Arondissement of Paris. It is in fact just across the main road from the river bank. It is also within easy reach of the Louvre. The hotel is obviously part of the Novotel chain and is fairly easy to spot as it is quite a garish red/orange colour in one section. The Organic Hotel? Hotel Gabriel- Paris

Advantages: Great rooms, great hotel!
Disadvantages: Expensive to eat in hotel

...I recently spent three nights in Paris and booked the hotel through the Euro star website along with my train ticket. In total the hotel cost me around £150 for the three nights for a double room. When I got there I asked if we could change to a twin room and we paid 45 Euros more to do this for the three nights, so the total I paid was around £195. I think this is a very reasonable price for a hotel in Paris, especially because this one was lovely. Firstly, it is located within the Marais area of Paris, which is very nearby the Picasso museum. It is a walk able distance down to the river and to the Louvre etc, however there is a metro station minutes away; Republic. From Republic you can catch the majority of the different metro lines, or you can catch it to a station which will allow you to connect to the line you need. The hotel...

...just come back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. have stayed in novotel hotels before so i knew what to expect!! firstly the name! CENTRUM that would lead you to believe that it is centrally located! then think again! it is a good 15min walk ,which ok is nothing! (and the hotel is in a beautiful setting near the river) but when you start exploring this beautiful city, you do not realise just how much walking you will do!!!! There is a tram stop just across the road and 2 stops you are in the centre! thats fine but when you get the tram back, where it drops you off you are on like an intersection which is very busy, and unless you use the underpasses( there are 2, one being along side the river, the other by a supermarket, okay during the day but i would be a bit cautious at night! there were some drunks around!) you can always play...

Elysees Opera/America Opera Hotel - Paris, France.

Advantages: Location, Room Size
Disadvantages: Facilities offered were minimal.

...and Disneyland Paris. It is also in walking distance of Montmartre and Le Galleries Lafayette. I felt that our hotel was in a prime location making it easy for us to get around the city. Paris itself is a very noisy city; being the capital of France this should be expected. There is always a lot of noise around including during the evenings and at night time. The fact that our hotel was situated in such an area did not make it any better; this was clearly visible with our balcony doors open. However, the hotel offers soundproofed rooms, as standard to combat this noise, of which I will go into more detail later. Overall for the location I would give it a 9/10, we never struggled to find anything that we were looking for, apart from the hotel itself in the first instance. Everything is easily accessible, and with a Patisserie and small shop...

Advantages: Cheap, Friendly staff, Great Location
Disadvantages: Not close to the eiffel tower

...happen to be the news. (There is an update package but it costs). The bathroom was small but modern and clean. The loo was in a seperate room. The only problem with the room is that the walls are thin, it is common to hear the person next door in the bathroom. This hotel also has a small but good gym, this was mostly empty so its great for keeping up fitness. The best thing about this hotel is that it was cheap. The hotel is now called Novotel Paris Est....

...I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights. LOCATION: The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal. PRICE: Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time...

  A Superb Gamble in Vegas! The Paris Hotel!

Good hotel in convenient location

Advantages: Good location, well maintained and own car park
Disadvantages: nothing of any note

...a day. Pay at reception and it is only €22. The lobby is nicely decorated in typical Novotel modern style with a comfortable bar and lounge. Their is also free internet and a Xbox for the kids. Their is also a very useful and helpful Paris Information Office which is open office hours and some useful maps and guides. The reception staff were very firendly and helpful and spoke good English. The rooms were small but were funcional and well decorated, again in typical Novotel style. Warning when looking for you room, look at the floor, thats where the numbers are, don't look like and idiot like I did trying to find you room. ...We stayed at the above hotel during October half-term 1999, and were quite excited at the prospect. However, on arrival, the excitement was short lived. We arrived at about 8.30pm, tired and hungry, after a very long day travelling, and found ourselves having to wait for an hour on the coach whilst the receptionist distributed room keys to the coach driver. The hotel was designed in the style of a wild-west ranch and the accommodation blocks were spread about in about a mile radius, needless to say, we were in the furthest block away from the reception/restaurant area. The rooms were en-suite, but very small, providing a double bed and bunk bed.
