...When our coach pulled up outside the back of Hotel Ternopil, I saw a large impersonal hotel, which looked like it had no charm or individuality, a throwback from the Soviet era. My first impressions were not entirely inaccurate, but the hotel is well situated, by Lake Ternopil, and has had a good re-vamp.
Whilst the outside of the hotel, which is in good condition, does look unappealing...

Advantages: Very welcoming, clean, lovely view Disadvantages: no bath in our room.

Advantages: Lots of facilities, most in good conditon. Good range of food options Disadvantages: Vast - get lost, impersonal, distance from town
Hotel Yalta, you won?t be surprised to hear, is in Yalta, in the Crimea, on Ukraine?s (as it was) Black Sea Coast. Nowadays it is only accessible via Moscow (although this could change). Prices quoted are in Ukraninan Hryvnia and sterling, but I assume you would now need the ruble now, and am unsure how that has impacted the economy/prices. As this is a lovely part of the world...
