The Hinckley Island Hotel

Advantages: Great Service and made to feel special!
Disadvantages: Brasserie isn't the best

...The Hinckley Island Hotel is a great 4 Star Hotel. Easy to get to from the M6 or M69. Just get off J2 on the M69. I've stayed there many times now and have samples the services there. The staff are all very polite and helpful. They all greet you in and around the hotel and are always willing to help. The hotel is huge and luxurious. I've been lucky enough to have been upgraded from their Standard room's to their Suites twice in the 6 times i've visited the hotel. The standard rooms are exactly that, standard. Certainly acceptable by most and can be booked most weekends for around £55 which is great! The Suites are amazing! Made to be just like apartments they have a livingroom, bedroom and bathroom. Also the Suites have VIP packages inside so you get a fresh bowl of fruit and magazines, along with slippers and a robe...

The Buckland Tout Saints Hotel is situated in Goveton in the heart of the south Devon countryside, two miles from Kingsbridge. The hotel itself is a sixteenth century manor house, containing sixteen bedrooms. The original building is over 300 years old, but the hotel and rooms have been modernised several times and the décor is sensational. It is set in 4.5 acres of grounds and is said to be one of the top 200 hotels in Britain. Arriving at night (As I first did) you round the dark shadows of Elephatine Isle to be presented with the magnificent sight that is the Isis Island Hotel. Ok, I might be exagerating slightly, but not much! After a long journey (4 hours from Luxor, or a short drive from Aswan Airport) you are greeted in the hotel foyer with a glass of cold karkadeh (a drink taken from the hibiscus flower) and comfortable seats while the tour rep introduces him/herself. About Samoa ------------------- Well Samoa is situated a few hours away from Australia and the two islands which are part of Samoa are very small and can sometimes be difficult to find on a world atlas. The first island is named Upolu which has the capital city of Apia there. The other is named Savaii and although there are about 5 other islands which are not inhabited these are the two which are. Each island is basically coastal because there is ocean everywhere you go visible in Samoa which is a nice thought and can be a breathtaking experience. The Imperial is part of the paramount chain, there are frequently special offers on their website www.paramount-hotels.co.uk. The usual discounter (laterooms, discount city hotels etc) can sometimes do deals on room rates. The rate I paid was a conference rate of about £50 per night but at the moment the Paramount website has Room only at £69, DBB at £143 per night The room rates increase as the season progresses. It is actually quite difficult to find anything to criticise. My room was large and well apportioned, with a sea view and patio door onto the balcony with a tremendous view over the bay.
