There are plenty of places in Tenerife south airport to hire a car for around £140.00 for the week, and the fuel is around 80p per litre.

...Both I and my parents stayed here for 4 nights last summer and having had a job that took my to virtually every hotel in the Cristianos/Las Americas/Adeje area i can safely say that this is up there with the very best. The rooms are of an excellent standard- clean, good quality air conditioning, comfy beds and very aethestically pleasing.
