A great conference venue but not ideal as a hotel

Advantages: Good rooms, well organised conference facilities
Disadvantages: If you aren't there for a conference, you could feel very 'left out'.

...the swimming pool and after that the bedrooms. Ettington Chase really is much more of a conference venue rather than a hotel. I think that if you booked this and weren't there for a seminar or a wedding or similar event you would possibly feel a bit cut off and isolated. I've read other reviews where guests have complained of being the only people at the Chase who weren't booked in with a large group...

A conveniently located hotel and conference centre

Advantages: Good transport links, conference facilities, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Outdated

...to use was the leisure facilities. The gym is really well equipped and also includes a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. My husband used the gym and said it was so quiet and relaxing. Just outside the gym are pool tables and two snooker tables. For those considering using one of the hotels 12 conference rooms they are really well equipped and were comfortable to use. Luxury does exist in 3-star hotels

Advantages: great service, lovely rooms, nice location with a view, free parking
Disadvantages: car park outside hotel is small
