Seaworld - Orlando, Florida

Advantages: Education, fun, see animals you haven't seen before.

...My review is based on our 3 Trips to Seaworld, Twice in June 2004 and Once in Nov 2005. Getting to Seaworld: ------------------------- Interstate 4 is the best road to come off to get to seaworld as there is excellent directions from this road. You can use the I-Tram which runs all the way along International drive if your staying in a hotel there as the stop is right outside seaworld. Discovery Cove Orlando Florida

Advantages: Superb experience you feel really special
Disadvantages: Photo's and gifts are expensive

...'s taken around the park with the dolphin pictures. I think the first time I went I spent over £300 on pics. The second time I used my head a bit I just bought a disk with the dolphin experience on and took 3 disposable waterproof cameras with me. I love this place it is amazing even without the dolphin experience, my boyfriend has never participated in the dolphin experience yet he still states it is one of the best parks in Orlando, and I agree. You have to pre book as they limit the amount of people per day so it is never overcrowded. The place is beautiful you could even forgive yourself for thinking you are on a desert island in places with the hammocks hanging from the trees. If you are visiting Orlando I really recommend you go. It is expensive but it is worth every penny. I am definitely going back there this time I may be...

There are two formidable roller coasters, the exciting Journey To Atlantis, and the awe-inspiring Kraken. In addition, for children there is more gentle Shamu Express roller coaster. That brings me to the real strength of this park - the animals, including the park's icon - Shamu, the killer whale. Although an enormous beast, I cannot imagine Shamu harming anyone, let alone killing them. The show put on by Shamu and his companions, both animal and human, is unmissable. We love it. Review of SeaWorld - Florida

The best time to visit orlando florida

Advantages: Go at the right time of year and you get on the rides within 10 minutes
Disadvantages: If you go in the summer months from may - september you could wait upto 3 - 4 hours to go a single ride.

...I have been only twice to orlando and already I know the place, we went once in april - may (3 weeks)and found that it was far too hot and them horrible flying lovebugs kept hassling us round the pool. Then we went in march and stayed at the radisson twin towers right opposite universal studios, which is by far the best hotel I've stayed at, they have junior olympic sized swimming pool and the best thing for the end of the day after doing all that walking is the Jacuzzi which fits about 8 - 10 people in. They also have there own gym, games room, restaurant with the best sausage pizza! and the rooms are big and spacious. There is so much to do around the parks, when we went there the boat that takes you across the river to the magic kingdom (or you could use the shuttle) nearly had near miss with another boat and we all collided into...

Florida: The trip of a lifetime!

Advantages: Lots of fun, loads of things to do, great weather, brings the family together
Disadvantages: Expensive, parks can be busy, long days

...hours of the flight which passed some of the time. ORLANDO AIRPORT. We arrived at the airport in Florida on time, without delay which was a great start to the holiday. Getting off the plane, we collected our suitcases etc and then went off to find our two people carrier cars we had booked. They were parked in two special parking spaces at the airport, i'm sure it was in a special carpark but I can't be sure. One of them was a turquoise blue colour, and the other one a bright red. They were very clean and looked quite "posh". My grandad was also happy with the two veichles and spent about ten minutes before leaving admiring them and gloating slightly about what a great choice he had made. We were all stunned when we arrived in the airport, it was huge, and very busy. I'd definitly recommend keeping your children close to you...

...As a family we have now used Orlando International Airport on our past two visits to the sunshine state. On both occasions we travelled with Virgin from the UK. In addition I also know that BA fly into Orlando International too. Orlando International is situated about 30 minutes drive from International Drive area. The airport has two terminals - A & B. All the gates are remote to the main terminal buidlings and they use a monorail system to transport you. When you arrive at the airport the first job is to go through immigration. This is probably the slowest part of the experience at the airport. This is where you present your passport, green visa waiver forms and your party for security checks. You will get your photo taken and adults get finger print taken too. The queues for this can be long so can be painful for kids after a 9...

They were doing floor by floor and when we had a look the whole room was being gutted and refitted,so I would of thought it is even better now than it was.They offer 2 double beds in the room and air conditioning, Tv and bathroom with all normal facilities.
