Disneyland Paris Hotel: Luxury and class

Advantages: Luxurious hotel, great facilities
Disadvantages: Very pink and expensive!

...Disneyland Paris Hotel I must admit that the (VERY!!!!) pink Disneyland Paris Hotel was not my first choice when visiting Disneyland Paris recently as it did look a bit girlie for me! I have been to DP a few times before and stayed at the Hotel new York which I have always thought was a great hotel. however, in the spirit of compromise I agreed to stay at the Disneyland Paris Hotel! The hotel appears to me to be themed on a grand Victorian Floridian style hotel and is very grand. Having stayed at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Walt Disney World which this hotel is based on it is neither as large nor grand but more whimsical and fits in very well in Disneyland Paris. Hotel Cheyenne - Disneyland Paris

Advantages: Close to the park. regular bus service
Disadvantages: Small rooms, poor service, weather unreliable

...We stayed at the above hotel during October half-term 1999, and were quite excited at the prospect. However, on arrival, the excitement was short lived. We arrived at about 8.30pm, tired and hungry, after a very long day travelling, and found ourselves having to wait for an hour on the coach whilst the receptionist distributed room keys to the coach driver. The hotel was designed in the style of a wild-west ranch and the accommodation blocks were spread about in about a mile radius, needless to say, we were in the furthest block away from the reception/restaurant area. The rooms were en-suite, but very small, providing a double bed and bunk bed. Disneyland Paris & Hotel Cheyenne

Advantages: Lots for kids to do
Disadvantages: Hotel was awful and general attitudes in the park weren't great.

...This was our first trip to Disneyland Paris, and most likely will be our last. I'm now more tempted to save up for a holiday in Orlando, rather than go through this all again!!! We stayed at the Cheyenne Hotel, one of the Disney hotels. I had read a few reviews beforehand which didn't look too promising, but had already booked! On arrival, after travelling from 8.30am and arriving at the hotel at 5.30pm we were greated by a rather miserable looking lady on the check in desks! She gave us our passes, told us that as we were staying in the hotel we could enter the parks two hours early (8am) and then informed us the earliest breakfast she could offer was 9.45! Pretty pointless letting us know we could get into the park early then telling us we couldn't! We stayed in Geronimo which was the furthest building away from the parks...

Hotel New York, Disneyland Paris

Advantages: Good location and appealing to adults
Disadvantages: Not as appealing to children

...I have stayed at quite a few of the Disney Hotel and the Hotel New York is definitely my favourite. It is the second most expensive of the hotels to stay in (after the Disneyland Hotel) but has many advantages! This is also the smallest hotel on Disney property and has the advantage of having smaller and more intimate restaurants and virtually no queues for breakfast! Rooms: The rooms are bright and airy and are decorated with 'Big Apple' touches everywhere (see if you can find them!) If you can, as for a room on a high floor, water view as the view over Lake Disney at sunset/sunrise is amazing! ...Disneyland is situated in the countryside, about a one hour drive from Charles De Gaux airport. If driving from the airport to the resort, it can be a little tricky to find, with many winding roads and few landmarks. If travelling on the Eurostar, the shuttle actually takes you to within three minutes walking distance of the park entrance and closest hotels. The whole of Disneyland is breatakingly dreamy, a true fairytale land for all ages. Before you arrive at the actual park and huge pink trademark castle, there is a long road filled with a variety of helpful little shops. As a family we have stayed in the Cheyanne Hotel, Sequilla Lodge and Newport Bay on several occassions but when my husband and I decided to have a 5 day break sans kids we opted to stay in the fantastic Disneyland Hotel - what a wonderful experience !! Disneyland Paris

Advantages: Fun for all ages, excellent atmospere
Disadvantages: Very expensive, not alot of toilet/baby changing facilities

...I have just recently came back from Disneyland Paris Resort. Well what can I say WOW. What a fab time was had by all the family. This was a family trip which included a range of ages from 18 months to a grand old age 60 year old. And I am pleased to say that there was something for all the ages concerned. I would say that the 2 very young ones did come a litle restless from waiting in ques. And yes some of these ques were a fair wait. Ranging from 30mins to 70mins. But the 6yr old throughly enjoyed every minute even the new Hollywood Hotel Terror ride. This is not a cheap holiday places I would advise if you are to go take more than enough cash, as things are very expensive. But never the less its is worth while going. The resturants in the parks themselves mainly consist of fast food which is alot more expensive than usual...

...hi there we have just come back from a fantastic 2night,3 day visit to disneyland paris and i wanted to share our fantastic experience with you all. Firstly if you are going to visit then go between now and march 2008 as kids under 7 go free including hotel stay and the 15th anniversary parades are magical. GETTING THERE We decided to drive so booked with P&O and did the dover to calais crossing and then it was very much straight forward,u just follow the signs to paris which are clearly visable from the moment you get out of the calais terminal,you then hit a motorway which until we hit it we did not realise it was a toll road(it cost 19 euros from calais to paris)which is around £13-£14 pound which may sound pricey but it was so quiet and straight forward it was worth it.Once you get near to paris you pick up the disneyland signs...

Advantages: Excellent park and great staff
Disadvantages: No shuttle bus between Davy Crockett ranch and Disneyland Park, and food

...only to get to the front when we were told to go to information and get one after this. However, facilities in the park are superb for disabled and staff are exteremly friendly and patient with them. There is even a car park situated much nearer the park next to the Disneyland Hotel for disabled people. There is definitely not as much to walk, but you should make sure you get the correct code, as it changes everyday. The communication between the security did not seem too good so unfortunatley we could not use this and had to woalk further than necessary on a few occassions. If you do want to enquire about a blue card then it is advisable to take proof of diablility with you, as we were almost refused one, despite an obvious disability and a wheelchair. Even if you are not travelling with a disabled person, and won't be able to skip...
