...I recently stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm Hotel in Benidorm, Spain for 7 nights between the 17th and 24th October 2006. LOCATION The Hotel is located about 800 metres inland from Levante Beach, and about the same distance from the Old Town. It is set in one of the quieter parts of the resort on a slight incline. It is not to be confused with two other Hotels in Benidorm that have similar names; The Flamingo Oasis Benidorm and the Flamingo Aparthotel. Fantastic benidorm hotel flamingo oasis

Advantages: Either for a family holday or just a adult gettaway
Disadvantages: none in my opinion

...I have stayed at this hotel about three or four times, but many more times in benidorm however this is by far the best hotel in benidorm in my opinion.from arriving the staff are just so friendly and welcoming they really can not do enough for you, there is a very wide range of entertainment starting from nine in the morning through until the early hours. during the day there have water activities for both adults and children, also daytime disco kareoke on an evening the entertainment is aimed for both adults and children totally family friendly, the food at the hotel was far above what i was expecting the food varies from day to day, they serve food from breakfast to midnight. there is also a small bar and resteraunt out side by the pool were you can grab a burger normally i like to explore out of the hotel however for the full week i...

The best hotel in the tourist trap of Benidorm

Advantages: Good service,great location, fine food.
Disadvantages: entertainment.

...Benidorm is full of third rate hotels catering mostly for the mass British tourist market. It is easy to see why it is so popular,with a great climate,blue flag beaches,good transport links,and close to a number of theme parks.Finding a good hotel however is another matter.Most of the Benidorm hotels are booked by the large travel companies and to be honest with a few exceptions remain cheap and cheerfull. The Don Pancho however is another matter. The WOW factor begins when you arrive as you walk thru the Mayan themed garden, with river and waterfall,to enter the hotel. The check in is one of the quickest in Spain and you are then taken along with your luggage to your room (unheard off in the rest of Benidorm hotels.) Whilst there we spent our days at the 5* Bentota Beach hotel using the pool & bar, for a small fee of £2 you can go to any hotel & use their facilities.This is a nice way of checking out the other hotels & generally being nosey.We fell in love with the place & decided then that if we went back we would stay at the hotel.One of the main things that had swung it for me was the resident elephant who was also part of the wedding ceremony. KOMBO BEACH HOTEL

Advantages: Everything has been thought of.
Disadvantages: Not enough warning about the water !

This is one of my memories of the Kombo Beach Hotel where I stayed when I visited the Gambia. We were a little concerned visiting Africa with the children, especially as we were on honeymoon at the time and the kids were really too little to be on their own. Hotel Riudor Benidorm ~ Basic Good Value

Advantages: Location in Rincon de Loix near Levante Beach
Disadvantages: Noise from surrounding bars - but that's Benidorm!

...The Riudor is one of those sort of "standard" Benidorm hotels. The Location is rather good, its listed as being on the Avenida Mediterraneo, but that's only the address, the swimming pool area fronts onto the Avenida, whilst the real entrance is towards the back of the hotel in a small passageway there. Drop off points from the airport will always end up here, as there is then only about twenty metres from the coach or taxi to the hotel front entrance. Local taxis will always drop here also, they know where the entrance is! Levante Beach is only a few minutes walk, and most rooms at the hotel have some sort of sea view through the buildings from each of the hotel balconies. Bus stops into the Old Town and out of Benidorm are about 120 mteres and 160 metres away, turn right out of the hotel down the passage to the Avenida...

...If you are looking for a relaxed holiday with not too many frills then the Ledra Beach is for you. Its a friendly and inviting hotel with excellent food I have to say.....probably one of the best advantages of this hotel. The accommodation is a little tired but nontheless comfortable and clean. An animation team keep you entertained day and night with a few outside acts a couple of times a week. Aqua aerobics, childrens games, quizzes keep you occupied through the day. We booked an all inclusive holiday and we had no complaints whatsover with the choice, variety and quality of food, it has to be one of the best menus on the island in any hotel! ...this hotel is slap bang in middle of all the entertainment in benidorm so would be ideal for those seeking bar crawling really cheap. the beach is literally down the road from the hotel, id say about 200metres away. the beach is really and not so overcrowded as you would think it be in the summer. plenty of shops and mini markets about (also those taccy shops that sell crap but we love them dont we haha). the hotel is very clean and shiny. alot of spanish residents come to this hotel too so be wary because some are quite rude and think they own it. the rooms are decent sizes, no kettle or sink though because you get everything full board at this hotel. you get a small tv, twin or double bed, nice bathroom and a really good balcony. if you have the balcony facing the pool then you have the best view because they have nightly...

Disadvantages: Limited amenities, but what do youe expect for 2*...?

Decorative details such as the ornate Chinese mirrored panels, and the etched glass recessed wall panels were meticulously restored, and exact replicas were made of the original chandeliers, sconces, and maple and mirror registration desk. A new wood and glass bar curves along one wall. The Winterhaven Hotel is a small hotel, and is located directly across from the Atlantic Ocean towards the top of Ocean Drive. Although not right "in the thick of things", it's only 2 minutes walk from where things are a bit busier, and you'll appreciate that when it's time to sleep and a million drunk tourists are partying hard out of earshot down the street... Most of the 70 guest rooms feature spectacular beach and ocean...
