How To Feel British In Spain
Advantages: modern, well-eqipped hotel, near the beach
Disadvantages: no good lamps beside the beds
...When we arrived at the Hotel Turquesa Playa in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain, it was already pitch dark. Had it not been for the palm trees we had seen on the way from the airport and the warm breeze we had felt, we could have landed in a hotel in Margate or Brighton, we heard only English! Groups of elderly British ladies and gentlemen were toing and froing in the lobby or sitting together...

Hotel Noelia Sur, Tenerife
Advantages: Quality, Family Friendly Hotel
Disadvantages: Non really, just needs to sort out the sunbed situation
...I have just got back from Tenerife and staying at the Hotel Noelia Sur. My family go to Tenerife every year and this is the second time we have stayed at the Noelia. It has always been known as a quality hotel, but like many hotels it has its blips.
Our flight was with Monarch airlines and to be honest it did leave certain things to be desired. I was told to expect to pay Ł10...

Hotel Monopol, Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.
Advantages: Town centre location
Disadvantages: Town centre location can be noisy
...My husband and I visited the Hotel Monopol in July last year I did write notes at the time but have only now got round to writing a review.
The Hotel Monopol, Puerto de la Cruz is right in the centre of the old part of town, on a pedestrianised street facing the Plaza de la Inglesia an old square with a church trees and flowers.
