Advantages: Lovely people, great views, fantastic value Disadvantages: It's a very long way up to the top
...The staff on the front desk at Dekeling need a mention too. I can't honestly say that I never worked out how many there were because I'm rubbish at remembering faces and the guys were interchangeably pleasant, helpful and utterly adorable. Tourist: "What shall I do today?"
Advantages: Dripping with authenticity and honesty Disadvantages: I have to give it back as it was only a loaner
.... Frank writes what I think every time I go to India. It leaves me thinking that I probably just shouldn?t bother as he?s so much better than I?ll ever be at capturing the spirit of this country. He writes about hotel ceiling fans so powerful that they pin small lizards to the floor and hotel cleaners who polish the squat toilets and then polish off his pack of razor blades.
The deep south
Advantages: Amazingly beautiful temple site with graphic sexual scenes. Disadvantages: Looking at it all gives you neck ache and sunburnt tonsils from your jaw dropping open!
