...have found so far the 30 minute time saver wash takes around 45-50 minutes and I can honestly say I don't know why! I am pleased with the size of the drum, the porthole is smaller than some of the other Aqualtis machines, which is a shame but the drum itself is a very nice size. Although I have not yet tried any "large items" looking at it, I do believe that it would comfortably hold a double duvet. Not tested this of course, so wouldn't like to say for certain. After installation by Currys I had a slight technical problem with the water supply, after calling the Hotpoint Service line I was given very helpful and prompt information - they were also good enough to tell me NOT to call out their engineers for the problem as they felt it may not be the issue I thought and if that was the case they would have to charge me for the callout...

...Walking round currys looking for a new fridge freezer on a wet sunday is not my idea of fun! but was something i had to do! After seeing lots of fridges makes and models i came accros the hotpoint ff200e! It instantly stood out its colour and curves instantly gave the wow factor i didnt care about energy rating or effecancy it was the one i wanted so its the one i got! Hotpoint WDD960 excellent for families with children

Advantages: washes well, dries well, quiet (when properly installed)
Disadvantages: installation instructions could be clearer

...and, before purchasing, I read many reviews that commented on its very low noise levels. Installation I would strongly advise getting this installed professionally, if you can. If you can't, then make sure you absolutely do not miss out on taking out the transit bolts at the back. The installation instructions is not entirely clear about this, and does not include a picture to confirm that you're taking out the right thing. We ended up running it for a couple of months with the transit bolts in place. It made huge amounts of noise and was practically taking off whenever it spun. We spent hours sitting on the floor trying to adjust the feet to make it completely level. Eventually, I found a small bit on the Hotpoint website with a picture of the bolts and we pulled it out and discovered that they were there still. In fact, one...

Stay clear of Hotpoint

Advantages: Reasonably good until it broke after 4 months
Disadvantages: Unrelilable, awful customer services from Hotpoint

...he'd gone, I started a wash and behold, the same fault still there. I called Comet who said because Hotpoint had replaced a part it was their responsbibility, so I called Hotpoint who said it was down to Comet. I've just spent over an hour trying to get them to decide who's problem it is, being bouced backwards and forwards between the two companies. My extended warranty is worthless, and I now have a piece of scrap metal in my kitchen with nobody taking responsibility for it. I've asked for Hotpoint to call me back after they have spoken to Comet and worked out who will sort out this problem. If I don't hear anything, I'm going to take it back to the Comet store and leave it there if I have to. You would have thought it would be a straight-forward case of "fix or replace" after just over 4 months. Latest Update...

Hotpoint a sore point

Advantages: If you fancy your repair guy, you will be seeing a lot of him.
Disadvantages: Not enough space here to list them all

...over the place, on three occasions it wouldnt let the water out, once it started banging becuase the screws that hold the drum in place had come lose, and as the years passed, despite all the repairs, it got louder and Louder and LOUDER. The final straw came when I heard huge 'crack' while it was in a spin cycle and the entire drum literally dropped inside the machine and it was spinning out of control making the worst noise you can imagine with sparks flying inside and smoke coming from underneath as the lose drum hit metal. Next thing I knew it had tripped the fuse on the kitchen ring. I was glad it did as I really didnt want to go near it to switch it off. Years ago, Hotpoint washing machines used to last 10+ years I can recall family members who had these machines that just went on forever, I dont know if they started being made...

...I had the same old Tumble Dryer for around 6years and decided purely for aesthetic reasons to upgrade and modernise, preferrably purchasing one that matched my recently bought Washing Machine. I trawled around the usual suspects, Curry's Comet and Online and eventually found the perfect match. *THE PRODUCT* Made by Hotpoint I believed the very attractive grey and anthracite colouring matched perfectly with my washer and blended in really well with my kitchen. ...I find the hotpoint WT96PO to be a fantastic machine overall, to start with it is easy to use and very inovative and modern. Although the price tag may not seem to appealing to most I feel that it is very good value for money and would recomend it to anyone looking to renew their washing machine. Once you have the hotpoint installed you will instantly notice the difference between it and your old machine. It features many different wash settings and always produces outstanding results. Not only is it a lovely little washer it also looks the part to in any modern kitchen, it comes in a lovely white colour with a very techno looking blue display screen. Id give it full marks when it comes to washing machines and recomend it fully! Five star!...
