...were underwear or towels, it would shrink other clothes so I just decided I could dry those items on the line instead and did not need a dryer. We ended up purchasing a Hotpoint Futura HF8D393 and I believe it was in the £250 region. THe machine is a front loading washing machine and is white in colour with the circular door in the middle, the fabric softener tray to the left and the buttons...

Zanussi Washer Dryer: It's oh so quiet, and so peaceful until...

Advantages: Looks as nice as a washer dryer can, lots of programmes, dryer can run on straight after a wash
Disadvantages: Noisy, not energy efficient, not water efficient

...Washing machines...a must-have for a busy home, but unless you have a separate utility room, or can afford a nifty built-in 'washing-machine-in-a-cupboard', they are, quite frankly, an eyesore, in my view! So I was quite pleasantly surprised with the look of this Zanussi washer dryer. There is nothing flashy about it, it is just a clean-looking, tidy, fairly compact thing, that curves outwards...
