Advantages: Kirsten Dunst, Simon Pegg in his element, some very funny moments Disadvantages: Won't appeal to everyone
...in and teaching him the ropes of the ever so difficult industry. To succeed in this industry Sidney must learn to hold his tongue (something he isn?t too familiar with), suck up to the people higher than him and keep his head down as much as possible.
Not being the biggest fan of Simon Pegg, this film wasn?t really on my radar despite seeing previews for when it was released. After seeing the previews the film reminded me greatly of The Devil Wears Prada, a film far superior to How To Lose Friend And Alienate People. Despite my prior scepticism regarding this film I ended up watching it and I have to say that it took me by surprise.
Don?t get me wrong, this isn?t Oscar worthy material, the script is questionable as is the acting and some of the gags fall flat but I have to admit that for a light-hearted comedy I thoroughly enjoyed...
Advantages: A wonderful story that encourages learning Disadvantages: none

...This is a great girly film and with Kate Hudson who I think is a great actress what more can you want out of a film.
Andie played by Kate Hudson works for Composure magazine you typical magazine about fashion, beauty and men. Andie studied serious Journalism, so she is hoping this will help her to write a collection or more serious articles about politics.
Andie's friend at work has been dumped so she suggests that an article be written about how you can lose a guy in 10 day as it is something that all women should know about so they can avoid the fatal flaws in future.

...HOW SHE MOVE- A REVIEW BY ADDY
WARNING- In the section titled dancing is a huge plot spoiler
Genre: Dramas/Music & Dance
Director: Ian Iqbal Rashid
Screenwriter: Ann-marie Morais
Producer: Jennifer Kawaja, Julia Sereny, Brent Barclay
Running Time: 1:38 Min
Rating: PG-13
Cast: Rutina Wesley, Tracey 'Tre' Armstrong, Dwain Murphy, Brennan Gademans, Kevin Duhaney
Background To The Film
♣ As you may or may not be aware, I am very interested in dancing and used to be considered quite reasonable at it. This began right back in 1980 when I became a B-Boy by discovering the joys that could be had from break-dancing. As I got older my interest for dance grew and I even befriended a world champion dancer called Lisa Rendall hoping to expand my knowledge and learn from the best. So needless to say my extensive...

Review of How She Move (DVD)
Advantages: Illuminating, entertaining; a look at war from a child's point of view; imaginative prose Disadvantages: Narration can jump confusingly at times
...Aleksandar Krsmanovic, the young hero of "How the Soldier Repairs the Gramophone", doesn't know why it matters what name you have, only that he has the right name. He enjoys an idyllic childhood in Bosnia until the sudden death of his grandfather, which happens at precisely the same time as Carl Lewis sets a new world record on television. Close to his grandfather, Aleksandar struggles to come to terms with his death, realising for the first time that life is finite, a discovery that inspires him to paint of a series of pictures of "unfinished things".
Then the ethnic wars, which have already visited neighbouring countries, start to creep towards Visegrad. As children, shielded from much of what is happening, Aleksandar and his friends don't fully understand what's going on "These days everyone is leaving town, no one knows where...
Advantages: Deals with the practicalities and emotional issues bereavement brings in bite size chapters Disadvantages: Whilst this is an excellent self help book, it is probably best for those who are under 50 or so
...Introduction
I will preface the review for this book by saying I truly hope none of you ever actually need to buy it. However if you do - I would highly recommend it.
"Death...And How to Survive It" is a book written specifically to help people who have lost their spouse or partner. Sadly for me, I had reason to buy this book in March last year when my husband died suddenly.
Kate Boydell became a widow in 1998. She was left with two young daughters and her book is a testament to the fact you can suffer loss and still come out the other side.
The Book
The book is split into two sections, each containing small chapters. This makes it easier to work through at a time when you are struggling just to function.
The first part of the book is entitled "Through the Darkness". This deals with the start of your journey - when you...
Advantages: Super story, great characters, enjoyable, I couldn't put it down! Disadvantages: None
...I do love Tesco's '2 for £7' books offer because really it's like 2 books for the price of 1 based on the RRP of paperbacks these days. Bernadette Strachan's new book has been jumping off the shelf at me for a while now because of its striking burgundy and orange cover, and I just couldn't resist the other day after I had been paid! It sounded like a really nice light-hearted read, so I decided to start it that night and I just couldn't put it down. I finished it in just under 2 days, and I hope my review tells you how great I think this brilliant book is!
Ruby Gallagher thinks she has it all - a happy marriage, money and a lovely home. But everything falls quickly apart when her husband Manny is arrested for fraud, and Ruby's life as she is knows it is quickly repossessed by police. Ruby has to quickly find herself a job to pay her...
Advantages: A good central conceit. Disadvantages: The satire isn't strong enough, the comic timing is off and it is miscast.
...success from one medium to another. His project doesn't have wide enough scope to work on the big screen. The visuals are bright and shiny but it's obvious in most of the film that Britain is masquerading for the United States. There are too many grey skies and drizzly days and British actors with laboured American accents for it to be otherwise. Interiors look like sets and the sliding fades between scenes feel like a throwback. He does well at conveying how awestruck Sidney is with New York but then uses a load of anonymous locations that undermine the sense of place. He tries to make Sidney's new world look suitably starry, but most big names appear in the background in what appears to be stock footage and a cameo from Thandie Newton feels shoe-horned in. There is no real sense of how desperate the main protagonist is to be successful...
Advantages: Ratings help the consumer Disadvantages: Abuse of the system detrimental to the good of the site
...So how many of you have read the ratings guidelines on Ciao ?? Everyone ?? Well you could have fooled me!!
Recent events have compelled me to write this review and I sincerely hope that you will all read to the very bitter end, by read I mean READ and not SKIM. To those of you who have already checked out the guidelines I apologise, to those of you who haven't then that is my first piece of advice. You can find the guidelines under the Member section of Ciao and I offer to you my own personal version as detailed below :

Advantages: Glorious views, gentle stroll and tranquillity Disadvantages: Can get a little tricky underfoot
...When ever I head off to the Lake District I always make my way to Gummers How as I find it one of the more easier fells to hike up but with one of the best views once at the summit.
** WHAT IS GUMMERS HOW..?
It may sound a little like a character from a Chinese action cartoon, with massive eyes and flaying fist, but luckily it is a lot more appealing than that, even for the kids, and will give them more exercise than they would get bouncing up and down on your brand new leather settee shouting at the television screen, routing for the worst drawn Chinese character.
So what is it then..? I hear you scream. (maybe not)
Gummers How is a fell in the South of the Lake District, close to the southern end of Lake Windermere, with the summit being a just 321 metres above sea level it is not one of the highest...
