It is part of their ongoing Monkeewrench series (the American title of this book), the latest being Snow Blind which was out in September 2006. The first three books went on to become National and International bestsellers. What made me pick us this book online was the fact that one of my favourite authors Harlen Coben spoke so highly of it, so in an instant I just new that the chances were I'd enjoy it. Grace MacBride is part of the Monkeewrench team, who are in the process of creating a new computer game which involves the player solving murders. Advantages: Facinating story
Disadvantages: Long Chapters!!

...work, which I am sure is not the case for people in that profession. Goddard also created a number of interesting and diverse supporting characters. I found both Oswin and Syd Porteous to be engaging and complex people that I always wanted to learn more about their secrets. The only character I struggled with was Roger Colborn, who I felt liked depth and could have been written better and described in a more detailed way. I was surprised how little was mentioned about the play Toby Flood was starring in throughout the novel. It was mentioned in passing and I suppose to include too much about it would have made the novel too complex and probably given the reader information that was important and irrelevant. Advantages: Great multiplayer fun, lots to do

..., the developers have certainly managed to cram plenty in, and as a bonus there are also quite a few events to be unlocked, such as the dream events which also appeared on the Wii version. One of the great things about the game is the incentive to keep playing, first off you want to win the event in itself, and obviously winning brings medals, which is great, but then you start to get greedy and want to break the Olympic and World records and if all that incentive is not enough for you, then how about the fact that the game saves all of your achievements, including medals won, best times etc and then allows you to upload your best times using the WFC connection, to see how you compare against other people from around the world. How To Have A Decently Unexpected Laugh

Advantages: Kirsten Dunst, Simon Pegg in his element, some very funny moments

How to Lose an Audience

Advantages: A good central conceit.
Disadvantages: The satire isn't strong enough, the comic timing is off and it is miscast.

...and rub shoulders with celebrities. The opening voice-over narration about how he always saw stars as better than everyone feels clumsy. We also don't see enough of his rise to prominence once he's decided to play the game - the whole kit and caboodle is summed up in a single montage that stops us feeling for the character. But what really damages the film is poor timing. Weide struggles to set up jokes, pre-empting them so you can see what's coming and making punch-lines predictable. Some sharper editing would have made them far punchier. The slapstick is poorly accomplished, mainly because it isn't harsh enough. There is also some crucial miscasting; the central pairing doesn't work because there isn't enough chemistry between them, making it impossible to root for them to get together.
