...I've had this printer for over two years and I've never had a problem with it- not even a paper jam! It was easy to install and is quite compact for a laserjet (415mmx486mmx253mm). The driver is included in Windows XP and it is basically just a matter of connecting the printer. I ordered one for work first so that I could try it out before buying one for home. I have always been a fan of HP printers so I didn't look at any other brands. I chose this HP model because it was cheap enough for a home user and looked better than the other models. I don't use it for printing pictures as it's only monochrome but the resolution and speed are more than adequate for printing documents. spread sheets and web pages. The Pro & Cons of HP Color Laserjet 4700dn Printer

Advantages: Easy install and setup, reliable, fast speed and capable for network pritning .
Disadvantages: Expensive and cannot print in A3 size, difficult in loading paper .

...fill it with paper. Talking of flimsy, the front door that accesses the toner cartridge also feels very fragile but the toner slides in with ease and it lasts for arount 2500 copies. It is a monochrome printer so no colour here, but that isn't what I bought it for. I used it for college work as the 1200dpi resolution, 19 pages per minute capability and the fact it is a laser printer meant that documents and diagrams looked very professional and came out a lot quicker compared to inkjet printers. Also, you can start print almost immediately after switching the printer on. The only down side to the print quality is when printing photos (but most people wouldn't be printing their photos in black and white anyway) they looked a bit grainy.
