HP.. your travel workmate
Review of HP Deskjet 460CB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: very versatile
Disadvantages: Only the A4 option for paper

...**HP DESKJET 460 CB** ---------------------------------- -Hewlett and Packard > A birth of a computer empire- HP-- In the beginning the company was unfocused, working on a wide range of electronic products for industry and even agriculture for products to help with US growth coming out of the deep depression. HP soon set their sites purely on high-quality electronic tests that were to shape the new comings of the electronic age. Intially it was measurement equipment. The pairs methodology in solving problems were even evident when their partnership was formalised on January 1, 1939 with a then hefty investment of US $538.00. Hewlett and Packard tossed a coin to decide whether the company they founded would be called Hewlett-Packard or Packard-Hewlett. Packard won the coin toss but named their electronics manufacturing enterprise... Read review

HP LaserJet 6L, Discontinued Review
Review of HP LaserJet 6L by  mraouf101

Advantages: Compact Size, Durability, Speed
Disadvantages: HP Support, Discontinued...

...-- HP LaserJet 6L in brief… This printer has been working with me from ages. I know it’s considered a bit old at the moment and the last time I logged to HP website, I found it was discontinued; however it’s a great printer with great functionalities. I bough this printer about 4 years ago, when It was a hit in the market and hp was just offering it to the people, I think it was one of the most successful printers to the HP company. Anyway, I am writing this review to the people who liked to work with this printer as I suppose its hard to get one at the moment because its not for sale anymore, and also because there is new models that offer many vast and more functionalities than this printer with a reasonable price. And by the way my model type is C3990A (by the way it’s a black/white printer for those who don’t know). -- Product... Read review

It sure makes me H.P.!!
Review of HP Original Sauce by  sunworld

Advantages: It makes all food taste scrummy!
Disadvantages: I use too much of it!

...I am surprised that I have not reviewed HP Sauce before now, as it is a long-standing favourite of mine. HP was put into production in 1903 by the Midland Vinegar Company, based in Anton Cross, Birmingham. The recipe was discovered whilst the owner of the company at the time was visiting a local grocers shop. The owner of the shop, Mr Garton, struggled to make ends meet and as a sideline, he made his own sauces. The owner of the Midland Vinegar Company was drawn to one particular sauce's aroma and the placard that accompanied the sauce - proclaiming it to be named "HP". When asked about the name of the product, Mr Garton responded that he had heard that the sauce had been partaken of by certain Members of Parliament. The owner quickly realised the potential and bought the recipe from Mr Garton for £150. We will start off by imagining... Read review

HP M415 Part I An average camera or a great one?
Review of HP PhotoSmart M415 by  callancool

Advantages: Reasonable image quality, In Camera red eye removal,
Disadvantages: Noisy Pictures, Chromatic Abhorrations

...INTRODUCTION The Photosmart 415 is HP's basic entry level 5 MP camera. It comes equipped with a 3x Optical zoom lens, 6 x digital zoom, a 1.5" TFT screen, a supposed 16 Megabytes of internal memory (more on that later), selectable ISO levels, picture effects, in camera red eye removal, innovative Adaptive lighting system and 8 (so HP claim) shooting modes. As a standalone unit it's virtually identical to it's big brother the M417 apart from the smaller LCD, 1x less on the digital zoom, and lack of a burst mode, and as such it's not available in many shops or online stores. HP is selling through their online partner store Insight for the supposed price of £90 (actually £91.99) which, after Arfur Daley's favourite tipple has been added, works out at £108.09, a remarkably cheap price for a branded 5 Megapixel snapper... HP.. A more colourful source
Review of HP Deskjet 9800d by  1st2thebar

Advantages: TOP Photo editing and photo printing
Disadvantages: Could go on a diet

...**HP DESKJET 9800D** -Hewlett and Packard > Summary- HP-- The ideology of Hewlett and Packard was always to build products for mass production; so it was logical that they produce products that was for companies to mass produce data themselves through printing. HP production teams throughout the world have mixed functionality, innovation and reliability, since 1939, HP have the biggest ever computer/hardware product ranges from one company branding -- HP. All together a typical HP product from drawing board invention to the many retail outlets takes 2.5 years. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The URL's link for Hewlett and Packard is: -www.hp.co.uk -- www.hp.com- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Welcome to the HP Deskjet... HP LJ2550n - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Review of HP Color LaserJet 2500n by  georgewkenny

Advantages: Print Quality - Speed of Printing
Disadvantages: Printer Drivers - Settings - Style (looks terrible) - Consumables

...Well, I have just read Richards review and I cannot disagree more! Richard, you said you hadn't had time to fully determine the total effectiveness of the printer, well now it's a couple of months down the line, come back and let us know what you think! I work for an IT out sourcing company and we support the IT requirements of many medium to large corporations - one of which had just ordered a range of HP 2500n and HP 3500n printers throughout their UK offices (about 20 offices in total). We recommended the newer HP range as the company have used the old 4000 series LaserJet for years, and the staff are pretty familiar with them. Upon the first installation of a 2500n last year, we went ahead and popped one onto the network to backup their existing monochrome laser printer. Because of the large amount of users, we setup... All in one with a bit of HP Sauce.
Review of HP psc 1210 by  LUNAH_C

Advantages: Front Panel for Quick and Easy use.
Disadvantages: Loves to eat paper.

...**HP History** HP have been around since 1939 when Stanford University classmates Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard founded the company. A coin toss decided the name and they were in business. In 1966 they produced their first computer. In the 1984 HP launched inkjet printers and laser printers that connected to personal computers. HP's high-quality, inexpensive inkjet printers brought about the end of dot-matrix printers. The HP LaserJet printer line, became the company's most successful product ever. The quality and reliability of HP's printers has made HP a highly recognizable brand. . These printers were capable of printing 300 dpi (dots per inch) which compared to nowadays is not much. But a milestone then. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In December 2000 we bought our first... Read review

Another solid performance from HP
Review of HP Deskjet 959c by  pauljm

Advantages: Quiet, fast and great print quality
Disadvantages: Cartridges aren't particularly cheap

...The HP DeskJet 959C is a colour inkjet originally aimed at the high-end home/small office user. It shares the same print engine with its more expensive siblings, the 980 and 990 and many of the same features. I've used this printer now for nearly six years (and tens of thousands of pages) without any problems. This it is the fourth HP printer I have purchased for home use and I'm not sure how many I've used in business. Basic Specification ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Resolution Black - 600 dpi Colour - up to 2400 x 1200 dpi This printer usually uses PhotoREt III which prints at a lower resolution. It gives a smoother photographic rendition by allowing up to 29 drops of ink per pixel which means that the amount of dithering required is less. Print speed Black text 11 pages per minute Colour 8.5 pages per minute... Read review

HP Photosmart 7960 - The future of printing
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7960 by  gusgusrule

Advantages: Gorgeus Design, Excellent printouts, Fast
Disadvantages: Expensive to buy, expensive consumables

...Well, the office has gone out and bought another printer! As if we haven't got enough!? This however is a true printer and one to get excited about! The thing I like about this printer is it offers exceptional graphic quality yet it is available for the home user. In our office, we quite frequently purchase large proof printers that cost us into the thousands, these are really professional printers that one would not typically buy for the home PC (for start they might not fit in your study!) Now however, companies are bringing out small renditions of what are essentially graphics printers, on a much smaller scale, the HP Photosmart 7960, in my view point is one of these. ------------- Why HP? ------------- The main standard printers which we use in the office are epson models, mainly because they are relatively cheap to buy... The HP DJ 350c - The perfect laptop printer
Review of HP Deskjet 350c by  gusgusrule

Advantages: Small, compact, ideal for on the move, adequate speed and quality
Disadvantages: Expensive consumables, runs on parallel

...After years of using a laptop it was becoming an increasing nuisance being able to print only back at the office or my home. I travel a lot up and down the country with my job and the laptop was useless to me as I lacked an adequate printer, I'd carry it with me all over Britain but never use it. It got to the point where I'd carry a laser printer in the boot of my car which was extremely heavy and ran off a battery pack which meant it ran out after printing only one or two pages. As you can imagine, I was becoming increasingly annoyed so I approached my boss and after months of persuasion I finally arrived at work to find this little beauty. ------------- About HP ------------- We're a keen fan of epson printers in our office however it seemed that Epson have a "gap in the market" when it comes to small, portable printers...
