HP 530 - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT
Advantages: Cheap,Fast,Sleek
Disadvantages: Size,Ram,Lid Scratches Easily
...excellent range i would say. If the 530 had more connections on it such as memory card reader i think it would be perfect but you get what you pay for i suppose.
After testing the DVD Writer i found that it failed a lot of times using Nero Express it also failed using the HP Backup Software,Worked perfect when tryiing to copy music disk. The Lid on my laptop has got 2 scratches after only 2 month of using. One more problem i have found with this laptop is that the power cable is in the wrong place always seems to be in the way.
i would reccomend getting this laptop if you are on a tight budget and if you are not botherd about the size of the laptop(would reccomend Ram Upgrade)....

HP 530 - Core Duo T2050 1.6 GHz - 15.4" TFT
Advantages: Cost, Reliability, Battery Life, WIFI Range
Disadvantages: Display not best, memory - not enough
...So what's it got and is it worth it.
My 530 come with Vista Home Basic 32 pre-installed with the option of the Business 32 version for a little extra. It's powered by an IntelCore Due T2050 processor at 1.6GHz with 2MB level 2 cache and 533MHz FSB. The memory let's it down at only 512Mb, which struggles to keep up woth the demand of Vista.
The good news is that the memory can be upgraded to up to 2Gb, however we opted to trash Vista in favour of our ol favourite Windows XP Home.
Storage is a reasonable 80Gb SATA Hard Disk Drive and a combi DVD/CD RW drive wth double layer capability allows for essential backups, and writing speeds that won't keep you waiting.
The screen is 15.4 inches with WXGA Brightview technology.
There is a wired network adaptor as well as a wireless connection via a Broadcom 802.11 b/g, allowing...

X-530
Advantages: Price/quality, look
Disadvantages: sensitive to interference
...,
Most people aim at good quality sound in PC's. Often good sound card is not enough and better speakers must be bought.
That means spending more money for good stuff, or less for cheaper brand. Not necessarily when considering
Logitech X-530 5.1 speakers.
First some esential tech data:
Total pow RMS : 70 Watts
Total peak pow: 140 watts
Cable lenght:
center:160cm
front: 140cm/180cm
rear: 450cm
Installation is as simple as possible and described weel in manual.
Very attractive design gives it professional look. Whole set is assembled with high quality components both
inside and outside. Unfortunately there are too many cables and subwoofer looks like attatched to big spiderweb,
however are quite thick and strong. Center, front, and subwoofer speakers cables are quite short; even for desktop
use lenght is...

Roomba 530 - Home automation that WORKS!
Advantages: No hassle cleaning, keeps the place clean and tidy whilst you are at work. Easy to use.
Disadvantages: Initial outlay, can be noisy.
...Roomba. Why would anyone consider buying this small flying saucer like vacuum cleaner rather than use a traditional cleaner? One simple reason, IT?S BRILLIANT!!!
I have been spending £30 a week for an professional cleaning company to come and clean my apartment every week for the past six months, the main attraction of this being the cleanly vacuumed floors and the fact I don?t have to do any cleaning, however it is somewhat expensive. This is where the Roomba comes in.
Roomba is a robot vacuum cleaner that does the entire chore for you, how brilliant is that!
What?s in the box?
-Roomba with charging base
-Roomba virtual wall
-Spare filter
-Cleaning tool for brushes
-Instruction booklets and guarantees.
What is it?
The 530 is the fifth generation Roomba since their introduction many years ago and now for the first time they are...

An economical but powerful RAM for PC.
Advantages: Huge memory of 2GB, DDR2 technology with massive 800MHz bus, cheap and lifetime warranty.
Disadvantages: None.
...BACKGROUND INFORMATION
In modern day?s computing technology, RAM is one of the key factors to consider, before we buy a PC system. RAM (Random Access Memory) is an electronic circuit with chipsets, that allows the user to store data/information in the system and execute them later (if it has been saved properly). RAM allows the user to execute (or return) any stored data later in a continuous time, regardless of its size, location, type or format, hence the term RANDOM has been used in RAM terminology.
Kingston Technology is one of the world?s largest private companies to produce computer memory products. It is a USA based company and to date it is the fastest growing company in the computer memory market. They specially manufacture different types of RAMs and some flash memory drives as well. They have strong distributor...

Review of Kingston ValueRAM memory - 2 GB - DIMM 240-pin - DDR2
|
Everyone needs a good RAM boost
Advantages: Cheap and easy way to boast your PC speed
Disadvantages: Can be a little delicate in the wrong hands
...Random Access Memory, or RAM as we like to know it, is something that all computers need to keep up a good speed when opening several programs at once, basically the more RAM you have the more applications/programs you can have running without your system beginning to crawl along, forcing you to shut certain programs down.
RAM is important and you will know if or when your system needs extra when you start adding programs and everything starts to slow down or simply freeze.
All personal computers have RAM installed on them when made, most being well under the computers capabilities, which can slow you PC down eventually, forcing you to buy extra memory to fight the snail pace. Unfortunately, finding the right memory module which will fit your system is a job in itself.
Finding the answers to questions like? what is the maximum...

e530 - look and use
Advantages: small, light
Disadvantages: small front screen
...I was forced to buy a new phone after my old one had an 'accident' so...
****Buys a new phone***
I originally bought this phone, as I liked its features - they seemed to be up to date. I particularly liked the bluetooth feature, as my old phone didnt have this. The memory of the phone also seemed to be quite good. I chose orange network, as I have been told they have one of, if not the best range of signal in the area, and other areas of England and Wales.
***look and size***
The samsung e530 is small and compact with relatively large buttons, making it easy to type or dial These buttons are arranged into 2 groups (numbers and arrows etc). It is fairly sleek, with 2 small buttons on the sides. The tri-stripe design looks very modern, and the silver makes it looks slightly space age. The phone is available with a deep purple...

BUDGET BASIC
Advantages: High Quality High Value
Disadvantages: Poor Battery No Frills
...Hello all,
I work at several large computer superstores and have access to them all on a daily basis. I Have not purchased these laptops but I instead work with them in order to bring
you the highest quality consumer based reviews. I sometimes ask the opinions of my staff and also of customers to bring you up to speed.
So without further interuption here is my review on the HP 530
Well this is power value and for just about £300
DESIGN
BASIC BASIC BASIC is the words but the build quality is high and it looks like a rather expensive machine and it was very popular at recent months. Especially to thoose in
university and thoose that need a basic cheap laptop.
PERFORMANCE
Its not slow but it wont win awards. In fact it was quite nippy dispite the poor and outdated Intel Celeron Chip and the meager RAM of 512mb. It...
