HP C4480 Printer - Great all-rounder

Changing the cartridges is really simple - this printer takes HP 350 black ink cartridges, and HP 351 tri-colour ink cartridges. These are also available in 'XL' sizes, which provide a lot more ink for your money - really good value. Special HP 348 photo cartridges are also available, for those wanting to print high-quality images. The front flap folds in completely flush with the rest of the printer, which is great for saving space when it's out of use. Whilst the printer offers fantastic value for money and all the features you could possibly want, the software is probably the main thing that lets it down. The software is slightly fiddly to use and not overly logical, however you soon get used to it, and personally I do not often need to use it...

Advantages: a good solid professional printer

...I have to say in writing this piece that I have always been a fan of Hewlet Packard and that this printer is my third Printer from them, I started with the HP 560C in 1994 moved up to a HP 870CXi in 1998 and then this beauty in 2000 I have had this printer for a year now, and have put it though its paces well and truly....it is very kind on both the tri-colour and the black ink Cartridges.... Setting up the printer was very easy, being able to run on a conventional printer cable or linked via a USB cable ( as in my set up), printing is very fast and with Photoret III near photographic quality colour printing is possible...the included CD was easy to use and set up the software in a few moments, a new feature to me was the 'myprintmileage' in the 1220C toolbox, this links to your own personal area at HP on the web and once...

HP 930C Versus 950C And Epson Equivalents

Advantages: Does all types of printing quickly and quietly

...Okay, to start with I work in the computer trade, so I see products come and go. At work we do lots of point of sale displays, which are usually A4 sized with a large colourful header and some bullet points in large black text. I can without hesitation recommend the Hewlett Packard 930C for its excellent print quality and speed. The documents are printed directly from Photoshop 5 and the results on cheap copier paper are fantastic. But for a real test I printed out a picture of my baby son (for testing purposes, honestly!). The picture was taken on a Kodak 200 Plus at high resolution and printed directly from internet explorer, on copier paper with the HP cranked right up to the highest print quality (1200 DPI, I believe). The finished picture was excellent, and I now keep it to show customers how good the printer can be even...

A Leap in Technology - the HP Photosmart C4585

Advantages: Wireless printing and scanning saves time and money for business
Disadvantages: Sometimes needs turned on/off when scanning lots of documents

...I received the HP Photosmart C4585 as a Christmas 2008 present and so am not sure how much was paid for it- though I know it was bought from Curry's. To sum up in the first paragraph all I can say is that this in an incredible piece of technology- the freedom of not having to plug in printers and scanners into my laptop is a great asset that I did not think I could appreciate to such an extent. The product was found in excellent condition upon opening the packaging due to the strong polystyrene inserts that fitted the box like a glove. Inside all the relevent user manuals, quick start guide (for both windows and apple), warranty cards and sample ink cartridges were included. When paired with my wireless-g network this printer/scanner/copier took approximately 30 minutes too set up. I am quite computer literate so perhaps a complete...

...printing, in other words, I can do other stuff while it prints. Compared with my previous printer the print quality to speed has greatly improved. It would take a good couple of minutes to print a single A3 in normal colour but the HP1220C halves the time. The colours are a lot crisper, even in econo the colour is pretty good. For a good quality printer that is reliable, fast and well built the price is extremly good and wel worth it. a definate must buy if you need an A3 printer at any point. Once you get one you will never go back to A4 printers....

HP Deskjet 660C Printer

Advantages: Excellent HP backup service and warranty
Disadvantages: expensive ink cartridges

...I bought my 660C Deskjet printer when they first appeared - it must be over 5 years ago. Colour printing quality is excellent (including photographs), and text printing is acceptably fast. Included in the price at the time I bought it was a 3 year warranty. I have given the printer quite a hard time and although I have had a few problems I have found the HP warranty to be excellent - especially as it was included int he cost of the printer! The print cartridges are quite expensive, so for a while I tried a refill kit - just for the black cartridge. This worked fine for text, but the quality of colour printing, where the black is mixed with the tri-colour inks was unacceptable. Dark images were a muddy brown instead of the clean black from the genuine HP cartridges. After heavy use I started to get black streaks on the paper...

The HP DJ 350c - The perfect laptop printer

The advantage of this is that it avoids having to ever replace the heads if they get clogged, however the disadvantage is the increased price compared with other cartridges. ---------- Overall ---------- Overall, the HP Deskjet 350C has a lot to offer people with a laptop and people on the move, its small and compact and althought its not that fast and the quality is only average, when it came out you couldn't expect much more. The truth is however that since it came out, companies like Canon have been bringing out smaller, more compact printers with superb quality and printing speeds. However, then theres the issue of price, this model of DJ is available for under £100 now, where as the Canon i70 is around £200. So you can stick with the basic means that are the HP model...
