Although it seldom got jammed, but if you are not fixing the media correctly, it may be a problematic and need to call technician for help. Advantages: Fast Printing (if not Adobe), Toner Level Display, Good Quality Print
Disadvantages: It's Too Big, Doesn't Duplex Properly, It's Too Big, Noisy, oh yes - It's Too Big!

Up to that point, we had 3 different printers - 1 on each desk - which all went through a full colour cartridge every fortnight and a black cartridge cost every week. Given the extortionate cost of printer cartridges (even recycled ones), my boss decided that now was the right time to buy a new 'central' networked printer, and wanted people to come up with ideas as to what we wanted. We eventually decided that we wanted a printer that could be networked wirelessly, had a high print cartridge capacity, could work with Vista had a fast printing turnaround, had a household name so that cartridges wouldn't be a problem and one that had a duplexing facility as we print a lot of double-sided pages as part of our order forms...

Good little printer

Advantages: small, easy, cheap, good quality (for a col. laser)
Disadvantages: smallish paper tray

...Good little colour printer! Network ready, works well with my Mac and PC over ethernet. Installed easily on both. Initial toner cartridges are not full capacity, but mine ran to around 950 pages when black, followed shortly but magenta and cyan ran out. Tip for using this printer: switch on the supplies warning override. It was telling me to replace toner at around 600 pages, I got 350 pages more before needing too! Use: using this for short run direct mail and flyers, lots of pictures and colour. With Edge Control set to light this is just fine. Not quite as smooth as the commercial printer I use for digital but acceptable, and we're promoting photography services mainly. Prints card up to 220gsm OK. Also duplexes well (work and turn). It is the ideal home or small office printer, the paper tray on the LJ2605 is small so required topping up constantly with paper. Advantages: Very good value. Small Footprint. Long lasting Ink Cartridge.

...I picked this laser printer up from PC World for about £100 and overall have been very impressed. The printer connects through a USB cable and set up is very simple for both Windows and Apple Mac computers. There are a lot of positives with this printer. Firstly it offers very good value for money. It does everything the average home user will want for a very affordable price. The print quality is good and perfect for everyday printing of letters, etc. It can print on both sides of a page which is a particularly useful feature. This requires you to place the half printed copies back into the feeder rather than doing this automatically. This isn't really much of a problem, especially for the asking price. The printer also works well with transparencies. It comes with a ink cartridge which has lasted me at least a year of regular home...

Advantages: Durable, time efficient, high quality

...This product is very good for producing business type letters. It is fast and reliable and rarely gets jammed. It can use universal paper as well as the more expensive type papers and the memory capacity is very good. Although it only prints in black and white it is a high definition print quality and the ink cartidges last a fair while even when it is being used by several printers. Even when it shows that the ink is getting low, it is possible to take the cartridge out, shake it a few times and get several more good quality prints of your work. Overall, this is a very good printer and is well worth the inital outlay. I would recommend this printer to anyone either for small business use of two or more people sharing one printer or, by an individual....
