The benefit of using Original HP inkjet print cartridges is that they offer consistent print quality and reliable performance.With the HP 350 you can expect "archival-quality documents that resist fading for decades" thanks to HP Vivera Ink. Although HP print cartridges are coming down in price you can still expect to pay a lot more than other substitute brands. The real question is whether the extra money is worth it. With some of the alternative products on the market today I am inclined to believe you can the same quality for less money. Many alternative ink cartridges contain more ink than official HP cartridges, however the problem with these cartridges is not always being sure of the quality of the product you are buying, nor the reliabilty... Advantages: Print Quality
Disadvantages: Paper Handling

...Although the 1100 has all the usual HP features and print quality, it really falls down on it's paper handling capabilities. Having purchased a dozen or so of these printers we found within a very short space of time that the printer was feeding several pages at once and consequently jamming. We tried all the usual methods to stop this such as changing the paper supplier and ensuring the paper was separated before loading. After having spoken to HP they sent out a small rubber coated part which made no difference whatsoever. As this fault occurs on all our 1100's I assume HP know of this fault but are ignoring it.... I ended up buying a Hewlett Packard Printer / Scanner / Copier which takes HP 21 and HP 22 Inkjet Print Cartridges. HP 22 PACKAGING AND CONTENTS The packaging itself makes it look as if you are getting a larger cartridge than the one you actually get. For those of you that are into minimal packaging, then I would say that there is too much packaging, in the form of cardboard, and depending on where you buy them from, these are then further packaged into a see through plastic holder. Advantages: Lots of sauces to choose from.
Disadvantages: Harder to find in winter, so stock up in summer.

...Now for many my choice of breakfast may sound gross but I really love baked beans on fried bread, which is covered in HP sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I have loved HP sauce since I was a small girl, sitting on my father’s lap at breakfast on a Monday morning. (Dad always had a fried breakfast on Mondays). My mother still laughs about how I would eat a mouthful of my father’s breakfast, as he would try to put it in his mouth. Oh it must have been the HP sauce that drove my to do it. According to HP this sauce is ‘absolutely tangtastic’. HP bottle sauce became very popular during wartime and other periods of shortage, as it helped to inspire left over food and makes some of the cheaper cuts of meat more palatable. Advantages: HP for word processing / Epson for images

...Which printer to buy? Forget all else, if you want a decent balance between image and word processing then you will probably find that it will have to be HP or Epson. The average HP DeskJet printer provides quicker printouts, excellent document definition, but fails to achieve the outstanding image quality that Epsons deliver. I have had several different models of each printer manufacturer, and I now use a HP DeskJet 710C which has given me, on average, very good results. Still every time I want to print a photograph on photo paper, I still go for the Epson Stylus Colour. Mind you HPs can deliver good picture quality too. One last word, if you are clumsy and have a desk full of things all the time, then go for an Epson. HP ink takes much longer to dry - you’re bound to get your work and your hands smudged very easily!... Read review

...Compaq is a very good place to buy all of your computer software and hardware.I frequently visit because I have never visited and found that they do not have what I am searching for but if they ever did I know they would have it in just a couple of days.This place is good for people of any age because it has everything from computer games to hard drives.There are plenty of Compaq retailers around so where ever you live you shouldn't have to travel far to get to a store.It is also a lot cheaper than most places even though it sells all the same quality goods.... Advantages: Auto feeds paper, uses flashing lights & on PC screen that the ink needs refilling.
Disadvantages: Plastic paper tray rather flimsy but thats because when not in use it bends flat.

...I use this printer for all my personal & book catalogue printing. For me it prints very sharp & extremly clear on all occasions it is used & does all I would expect it too without taking too long which is an nice bonus compared to previous printers. For the book catalogue its printing of colour is a great enhancement & makes the clip art stand out well, as is its ability to collate pages. I have used other makes of printer in past but have consistantly found that the HP range is much better & continues to give me the quality & reliability I want. Hence any future purchase's for another printer would have a HP at the top of my buying list.... Read review
