HP Compaq DC7600 - The Business Machine

It has trusted platform module security chip embedded security and this makes the security system trusted. It has fantastic operating system software like the Microsoft windows vista business/XP professional downgrade and also it is provided with the security lock slots, administrator pass word and so on. Getting PC like this is not really a bad idea because it has been in full use in my office and has not gotten any problem since functioning. But the thing with the PC is that it is not that easy to install and so needs to read fully on the manual for company's directions and guide. Can't go wrong with an HP

Disadvantages: Doesn't like non-hp parts, develops noise

...more reliable kept as standard. I added a video capture card to a DX2000MT and the machine became very unstable. The Onboard network card is very good. Unlike some of the cheaper motherboards where you will find it necessary to buy a seperate Network card, this 10/100 NIC by Intel is very fast and dependable. The onboard sound is about the same as any. If you are big into your sound you would normally have a high end sound card anyway. It doesn't come with a CD/DVD Writer, but it is designed as a desktop business machine and it comes with a 52x CD Rom drive. It costs peanuts to buy a CD/DVD writer and it's five minutes to fit it, so not an expensive option. The graphics card surprised me. It's actually not bad at all for a standard onboard jobby. ...I needed a desktop computer so I scouted about and came up with the Dx5150, I measured my desk to make sure it would fit then I ordered one online. It's a very smart and like with many computers it's very quiet, it comes ith 512MB of memory which was a nice feature, normally pc's only come with 256MB. Also because this is a business PC it comes with Windows XP PRO. The hard drive is a SATA drive which is now becoming the new standard in computers but you can add another one if you wish. Installing the PC was dead easy, conencting to a router was easy, it found it straight away. The back of the PC has a nice bank of 6 USB ports so you can plug all your devices in.
