It would look good, as HP are behind it. I don't know why they bother really, they only make 0.08% profit on every machine sold. The specs are that of a medium PC. The 512mg ram is a nice touch and will open up many games, and a fast load time in games like Enemy Territory. Now, the nicest bit is S-ATA, so if you care to update your hard drive buy the 2 Raptors (10000rpm, S-ATA) and put them into Raid 0 (for more info on raid see any decent PC site). Onboard grahics bring what could have been a very good machine crashing down to the state of good. However, there is suppost to be a 8x AGP slot, so you can override the rubbish...

The Future Of Good Value Desktop PC's

Advantages: Cheap Price, Top Of The Range For Price Bracket
Disadvantages: There are faster systems out there, comes stand alone with no hardware

...downloading since the day I bought it and have still found no change in its everyday running. It is therefore perfect for both use at home and in a business environment. When you buy the machine you receive a free copy of HP Client Manager which is a web-based tool and lets you inventory hardware, monitory system health and upload drivers. A very useful tool at all times. BEWARE: This is a stand alone desktop machine. It does not come with a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, or any other hardware. As such it is best for those wanting to upgrade (me) or those piecing together their own system. An excellent system for the price. I would recommend this to all PC users. At lowest prices of £400 (see Ciao) this really is the future of lower price desktop PC's....

...This range of print cartridges from HP is the bigger and better version of the HP300. Those of you who remember my stunning, wrongly uncrowned review of the HP300 will remember how it ran out after just 140 pages. Well, this time I splashed out on the upgrade. Basically, these cost £30 each, although I picked them up on ebay for around £19 brand new and sealed. They are print cartridges that do a lot more than the HP300. The black and white cartridge will give 600 pages of print (4 times what I got out of its baby brother at just twice the price). The colour one gives 440 pages. ...We have been looking for a good quality laptop at the right price, so when we saw the HP G60 for £379 we went for it. The laptop is has a good specification. It has 3GB of RAM which is more than enough to run Windows Vista, a 250 GB hard drive, and 2 GHz AMD Turion dual core processor which means it is more that quick and powerful enough to hand most things. The screen is 15.6 inches (a fraction larger than the standard 15.4 on most laptops) and has a glossy finish, there is little glare and ample brightness and contract in it. Changing the cartridges is really simple - this printer takes HP 350 black ink cartridges, and HP 351 tri-colour ink cartridges. These are also available in 'XL' sizes, which provide a lot more ink for your money - really good value. Special HP 348 photo cartridges are also available, for those wanting to print high-quality images. The front flap folds in completely flush with the rest of the printer, which is great for saving space when it's out of use. Whilst the printer offers fantastic value for money and all the features you could possibly want, the software is probably the main thing that lets it down. The software is slightly fiddly to use and not overly logical, however you soon get used to it, and personally I do not often need to use it...

...A well designed, high quality affordable laptop, the HP pavilion dv5 doesn't fail to please in looks, performance or price. In terms of look and design, flashy is a good word for it. It has a glossy black case which shines in the light, then you open it. The keyboard-surround is split horizontally: the bottom half is very light silver with a white check pattern, and the upper half perforated silver plastic. Around the edge of the laptop, there is a chrome-effect strip which sparkles and shimmers. Even the mouse pad has a finish that is so reflective you can see your face in it. This is the 'bling-bling' of the laptop world. It also feels pretty solid, I don't think you would be able to break it easily and I have faith in it's durability and robustness.
