When you buy the machine you receive a free copy of HP Client Manager which is a web-based tool and lets you inventory hardware, monitory system health and upload drivers. A very useful tool at all times. BEWARE: This is a stand alone desktop machine. It does not come with a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, or any other hardware. As such it is best for those wanting to upgrade (me) or those piecing together their own system. An excellent system for the price. I would recommend this to all PC users. At lowest prices of £400 (see Ciao) this really is the future of lower price desktop PC's....

It has trusted platform module security chip embedded security and this makes the security system trusted. It has fantastic operating system software like the Microsoft windows vista business/XP professional downgrade and also it is provided with the security lock slots, administrator pass word and so on. Getting PC like this is not really a bad idea because it has been in full use in my office and has not gotten any problem since functioning. But the thing with the PC is that it is not that easy to install and so needs to read fully on the manual for company's directions and guide. ...First Impresions: Nice Case P4 = Good (but Athlon XP better) Medium Specs Can Play Games Nice Ammount Of Ram Won't fall apart on you The case is almost exactly like that of the other HP macine. It would look good, as HP are behind it. I don't know why they bother really, they only make 0.08% profit on every machine sold. The specs are that of a medium PC. The 512mg ram is a nice touch and will open up many games, and a fast load time in games like Enemy Territory. Now, the nicest bit is S-ATA, so if you care to update your hard drive buy the 2 Raptors (10000rpm, S-ATA) and put them into Raid 0 (for more info on raid see any decent PC site). Onboard grahics bring what could have been a very good machine crashing down to the state of good. However, there is suppost to be a 8x AGP slot, so you can override the rubbish...

...be using a decent graphics card, but there again you probably wouldn't have selected this machine if that was your bag. Looks wise, it's pretty easy on the eye. With it's black case, silver front and trendy curves and vents it looks professional. These machines range from £300ish for the Celeron version and £400ish for the Pentium 4 version (I'd go with the P4). Support is very good from HP. When buying one from an HP Authorised dealer you will get a years onsite warrantee. Overall, this is a good PC and you won't have many problems....
