The HP 300's bigger, stronger brother

...This range of print cartridges from HP is the bigger and better version of the HP300. Those of you who remember my stunning, wrongly uncrowned review of the HP300 will remember how it ran out after just 140 pages. Well, this time I splashed out on the upgrade. Basically, these cost £30 each, although I picked them up on ebay for around £19 brand new and sealed. They are print cartridges that do a lot more than the HP300. The black and white cartridge will give 600 pages of print (4 times what I got out of its baby brother at just twice the price). The colour one gives 440 pages. The cartridges are tidy and easy to install ? they just click into place. There?s no ink around and you won?t get ink everywhere which is ideal.   HP Deskjet 3820 - Noisy but reliable!

Advantages: Sharp text, easy to set-up and use, low running costs

HP Deskjet F380 - great printer for the price!

Advantages: Compact, everything you need in one cheap bundle, fast printing
Disadvantages: Fiddly software, no LCD screen, no SD/xD card input

For this price, it is almost unbeatable, and with HP you know you're buying quality and will get the relevant support if you sign up to help tool when installing the printer. The downsides to this printer include the lack of an LCD screen, which you would find on the more expensive Photosmart models. On top of this, there are no slots to place SD or equivalant cards directly into the printer, which may put some potential buyers off. For me, it has never proved a problem, as I have a card reader with my laptop, and I don't print pictures often enough to warrant extra slots on my printer. ...I have been using Hp deskjet 1280 for around more than a year now almost {i think}. The only time when my product wasn't working was during the service time of the printer, that too lasted only for an hour. Believe me, the printer is very very versatile. The maximum size of printer paper that can be put is universal A3 size. The printing quality is very crisp and the color quality is just too good. The printer gives out color prints in almost less than half a minute. The cartridge of the printer is pretty cheap which comes at around 2000 rupees that is around 42$. The servicing of the printer takes very less time and the printer has a warranty of around a year. The overall efficiency of the printer is too good and the printer works almost on everything, ranging from networks to usb cords, without any glitches....
