The HP DJ 350c - The perfect laptop printer

Advantages: Small, compact, ideal for on the move, adequate speed and quality
Disadvantages: Expensive consumables, runs on parallel

...Our HP DeskJet 5550 has been serving us well for quite a few number of years now. It is reasonably priced (at just over £100), delivers good quality printouts, is easy to use and is quite good looking. If you are looking for a printer just for home use, to print out school or business work or information from the internet, then this printer is ideal for you! It is quite wide so you need a fairly large space to store it and sometimes it can be quite temperamental and annoying to use (or maybe that's just me!) Looks and Size The printer looks very stylish, with a slick space-age curve. It is very aesthetically pleasing and is definitely a printer that you would like to show off.   HP Deskjet 3820 - Noisy but reliable!

HP Deskjet F380 - great printer for the price!

Advantages: Compact, everything you need in one cheap bundle, fast printing
Disadvantages: Fiddly software, no LCD screen, no SD/xD card input

The downsides to this printer include the lack of an LCD screen, which you would find on the more expensive Photosmart models. For me, it has never proved a problem, as I have a card reader with my laptop, and I don't print pictures often enough to warrant extra slots on my printer. ...I was brought this printer 18 months ago now and have never had any problems with it up until now. When I brought it, it cost £99.00 from Comets. I use HP premium photo paper, which produces excellent photos that look and feel like the real thing. When printing you can chose from Best, Normal or EconoFast in setup, I print in Normal but have tried Best. EconoFast is for a faster print out, you can chose paper size and paper type in setup.
