The Compact iPAQ
Review of HP iPAQ 914c Business Messenger by
666Nemesis666
Advantages: Lots and lots of features, light, durable, easy to use (once you know how).
Disadvantages: Can be fiddly, menu's are not always easy to use.
...the HP GPS Navigation Kit you can even turn your iPAQ 914 into a Smart Travel Companion with Turn-by-Turn Navigation (no need to buy a TomTom then). And obviously no PDA would be complete without those familiar Windows Mobile® applications for organising your daily life. Something which you may not have thought possible was the inbuilt 3 Mega pixel camera - which can capture pictures or even take videos.
Full specs for 900 series HP iPAQ 910/914 include:
* Integrated Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and Tri-Band HSDPA up to 7.2 M bps with:
Integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g with WPA2 security
Integrated Bluetooth v2.0 with EDR
Integrated GPS navigation (Assisted GPS);
* Windows Mobile 6 Professional, Mobile Microsoft programs included: Office Mobile, Office Outlook Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile;
* Marvell PXA270 Processor...

HP iPAQ PC Rx3715 review
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC Rx3715 Mobile Media Companion by
Scottishstealth
Advantages: Lightweight, small, comfortable, good sized screen, long battery life.
Disadvantages: Sometimes the screen can lose where the pointer is, but not often.
...This is the 1st pocket pc, i've went and bought for myself, but i have used alot of others through work before. I found the set -up stage and indeed the day to day use of this model to be really easy and precise. I use it mostly as a in-car navigator , used in conjuntion with tomtom navigation software and an in-car cradle.
It has 152mb of storage built in, but this can be supplimented by use of an MMC storage card. Headphone jack, perfect for listening to mp3 or watching small films on the train. A good deal of software is also included within the package, such as:
Microsoft Pocket Word
Microsoft Pocket Excel
Microsoft Outlook
Windows Media Player
MSN Messenger
Pocket MSN
HP Photosmart
Internet Explorer
Calculator
Calendar
Solitaire
Jawbreaker
Pocket TV Pro
Aslo on the conectivity side of things, there is a great deal u can do...

Big Brand, Big Mistake
Review of HP iPAQ Hw6915 Mobile Messenger by
gt5952
Advantages: Great Features, easy to use
Disadvantages: Weak technology, highly underpowered, too many faults
...More faults than thought possible!
Im sorry to say that this product is a great idea, with many glitches, and HP havent been able to help me.
Heres the Glitches:
The battery is bad fitting, causing a very short loss of power occasionaly, making the device OS crash.
When the GPS is in use, and any phone options are used / when a call is recieved (even using a bluetooth headset) the GPS looses all signal, causing several minuites of signal blackout
The device has some hardware fault causing it to switch on every few minuites, even when not on charge.
When the device becomes warm (like on the dash being used as a GPS device, on charge) the charger continues to provide power, but the device refuses to take power, causing the device to loose battery power and go into hibernation when the battery reaches critical.
When the device hasnt...

High Quality PDA
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC Hx4700 by
jayokane
Advantages: Battery life, quick launch buttons, Wi-Fi
Disadvantages: Would prefer more memory
...The Hewlett Packard HX4700 PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) is a very capable unit. It has a large, clear display that can be rotated between landscape and portrait views. The unit comes installed with a host of features that make it a worthy purchase for anyone. It comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, pocket versions of Microsoft's Office applications; Outlook, Word and Excel as well as pocket versions of MSN and MSN Messenger. You will also find ClearVue PDF and ClearVue Presentation will allow you to read Adobe's PDF documents and Microsoft's PowerPoint documents respectively. There is also Pocket Informant which is a comprehensive PIM (Personal Information Manager) application. On the features side of things, the HX4700 comes equipped with bluetooth and wireless connections. Both technologies...

you buy phone and you get small computer
Review of HP iPAQ 514 Voice Messenger by
yuri55
Advantages: many and many options of use
Disadvantages: 1.3 Mega pixel camera
...I have bought HP iPAQ 514 Voice Messenger 1 month ago and i am satisfied with them. This phone has all what i need and maybe more
:-)
The operation system of this mobile is Windows Mobile® 6 Standard. It easy to worh with it and you will learn it in few minutes. You can chose Texas Instruments OMAP 850 200 MHz processor which is the best one but it's little bit expensive. I have the standard one and it's enought for everything what you need. The memory is 62 MB SDRAM and flash memory 128 MB ROM.
Audio includes microphone, receiver, speaker and stereo / through headphone jack /. iPAQ 510 has 1 USB port and port for 2.5 mm stereo headphone. The micro SD card is integrated in phone. Display is nice / 2.0" micro-reflective color TFT, 176 x 220, 65K colors / but camera is only 1.3Mega pixel.
Of course you can use Bluetooth, Integrated...

Small but powerful PDA.
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC H1940 by
fleek18
Advantages: Crisp and clear display, bluetooth
Disadvantages: no cradle.
...the treble and bass in 4 levels each and optionally use the super bass feature.
The HP iPAQ h1940 also has a Bluetooth capability that can transfer files and digital business cards, access your corporate network or the internet, print, work with a phone directory, and send SMS messages. It also contains a wide variety of software which includes: Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Internet Explorer, Notes, Tasks, Windows Media Player, Calculator, Explorer, MSN Messenger, Excel, Word and Pocket MSN. There 2 bonus applications the iPAQ Image Viewer and the iPAQ Backup.
The iPAQ H1940 has new operating system called Windows Mobile 2003, It is fast considering that this PDA has Intel Processor with clock speed 266 MHz., some says that it doesn’t make a difference with 400 MHz models, but for me it’s fast enough the videos that I watch, are smooth...

HP iPAQ Pocket PC H4150 The Wonder Machine!
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC H4150 by
djwill
Advantages: Small, Light, Fast Processing Speed, Fantastic Connectivity!
Disadvantages: Short battery life (although long enough)
...If you are looking for a new Pocket PC, you've come to the right place. The HP iPAQ is definately a first class product.
The looks hardly need describing, see for yourself... it's beautiful. The simple design and smooth curves complement this fantastic device greatly. When I took it out of the box for the first time I could hardly believe how small and light it is. You hardly realise it is in your pocket!
When you first turn it on you have to select various options (time, date, language etc.) but as soon as you have done that you are greeAted with the standard Windows interface (all of which is customizable). The programs included are the basic ones: Word, Excel, Media Player, Activesync and games like Solitaire and Jawbreaker (a personal favorite).
Playing the included games really shows off the incredibly fast processing speed...

iPaq Life....
Review of HP iPAQ Pocket PC H4150 by
dsayce
Advantages: built in wifi/Bluetooth, SD Card, Fast and Powerful
Disadvantages: not CF card input, older model
...Hi, thanks for reading my little review….
I purchased the HP4150 a year ago, and have to say no problems so far!!
While HP have now bought out a new line up of PDA's the 4150 is still my favourite, easy to use and powerful too, the main features are the large clear screen the fast processor and the wifi built in, the battery is also removable allowing you to replace or extend the battery life.
Basics:
Wieght: 4.7oz
Battery Life: 4 hours
OS: MS Pocket PC 2003
Processor: Intel 400Mhz
Display 3.5in TFT
Wireless: IrdDA (infra red), Bluetooth, wifi (802.11b)
Although the main function of this is to organize your life, so much more is possible. For daily use I can check my email, work on Word and Excel document, keep track of appointment, remember birthdays!!!
Surfing the internet is easy using 3rd party applications such as Thunderhawk...
