Advantages: Great screen, all the connectivity you could possible need

...I have been a fan of the Ipaq since the days of the old Compaq 3600 (way back in the summer of 99!). Since then I have had the Ipaq 5500 (the finger print reader) and now onto my third the new HX4700 (the one with the track pad!). Being familiar with the Ipaq's of old, the first thing I noticed when I unpacked the box was how thin the new Ipaq was, very thin, when compared to my old 5500. The looks though may not be to everyone's tastes, but it does the job. I have noticed though that HP seem to be getting more and more stingy on the "included" accessories. No more slip on case, spare pens nothing! With the 4700 all you get is the one stylus, a docking cradle and a plastic flap/cover for the screen. Hmmmm not looking too good so far then. Once charged - and this was quick about 3hrs! I powered up and immediately saq where...

Advantages: Very small and compact, huge amount of software available
Disadvantages: Might be too small for people with big fingers

...My review is based on the HP Ipaq RX3118 Deciding to buy A couple of years ago, I decided that I needed a PDA to help me organise things and also wanted to buy a satnav but at the time the "TomToms" were quite expensive. I decided the rough specification that I wanted out of the PDA and that I needed WIFI and Bluetooth, as well as it being Windows based. After much searching through the internet I stumbled across the HP IPAQ RX3115 on the handtec website. It had exactly what I wanted, WIFI, Bluetooth, Pocket Windows 2003, enough ram and a fairly quick processor, the unit also appeared quite compact and had decent battery life. So there it was £179.99, after a few moments of umming and arring I ordered it. The unit arrives Surprisingly it arrived the very next day, I couldn't wait to open it! I got the unit out...

...The HP iPAQ Pocket PC h2210 is perhaps on of the best pockect pc's on the market its fast reliable and does the job well, whether you want it for work or just for its movie and music playing capabilitys this is the one for you. The HP iPAQ Pocket PC h2210 is now reasnobly cheap for a PDA and has exellent programs for work purposes like pocket word and exel plus many more and others wich can be brought separately. The graphics are outstanding with just about no faults. This is backed up by a processor speed of 400Mhz wich is fast compared to others on the market, but isnt fast enough to download music files or movies from the internet. this brings me on to my next point, the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h2210 can conect to the internet via the normal method, dial up/ broad band or by certain mobile phones, im afraid i dont know how this works...

...life, even though i have the device set to power off after five minutes of inactivity, it can last for six hours no problem running skype and other programs using WIFI to revcieve calls and such. The protective cover also ensures that you cannot touch the screen while it is in your pocket and protects it from sharp objects. One feature that attracts me (again security) is under its screen it has, a narrow rectangular bar marks the fingerprint reader that comes quite handy to keep your files and applications safe and not easily accessible. Design: It is lot attractive, easier to grip/hold and it has a screen protector that flips up while you are using it (and obviously stays there while in use). The simple design and smooth curves complement this fantastic device greatly. When I took it out of the box for the first time I could hardly believe how small and light it is. You hardly realise it is in your pocket! When you first turn it on you have to select various options (time, date, language etc.) but as soon as you have done that you are greeAted with the standard Windows interface (all of which is customizable).
