Print, Copy, Scan, Fax, what doesn't the HP Laserjet 3380 do?

Advantages: Loads of functions

As we had historically just had printers in our office, my boss decided that we needed a little bit more functionality and decided to go for the Laserjet 3380. A 10 for the HP Laserjet 1010

Advantages: very fast, 8mb memory
Disadvantages: quite big

...Ok so finally deciding to opt for a mono laser rather than another colour inkjet I decided to go online and shop for the newest and funkiest on teh market. I ended up at PCworld- being the kind of person I am, shopping online just isn't good enough sometimes when you want to touch and feel the product! The Pro & Cons of HP Color Laserjet 4700dn Printer

Advantages: Easy install and setup, reliable, fast speed and capable for network pritning .
Disadvantages: Expensive and cannot print in A3 size, difficult in loading paper .

However, if you required for print media in A3 size, then it is not for you. Ah well, between 4 grown adults we finally got the printer into the office and spent 20 minutes trying to take off the packaging - not the easiest thing in the world as the printer was heavy and it was too tall for us to open at the top. HP Laserjet 1300

Advantages: Quick warmup, quick printing easy to use
Disadvantages: Build quality and quality of photo printing could be better.

Hewlett Packard have an excellent website offering technical support and updated drivers if required but although I browsed it, I have never had to use it. It isn't overly noisy in use and with toner cartridges (lasting around 2500 pages) costing from £5 on ebay to £50 in your local supplies shop it is very economical to run. Even considering the downsides ,this is a great printer that has been 100% reliable and I would recommend it....

...I bought this printer last summer, as I work from home and the cost of inkjet printing was getting a bit expensive, so I splashed out on this HP LaserJet 1100 model. Before buying I did a lot of research and found that, although a bit more expensive than your average printer of this specification, from past experience buying them for the office and home, I have found HP printers to be extremely reliable and they just keep on going.
